Jennie stood alone amongst the crowd of rowdy, drunk students, wondering why she agreed to come in the first place. Why she allowed Chaeyoung to drag her to yet another party.
Jennie knew she didn't get hurt because she fell in love easily- she got hurt because it felt as if she was always the one giving, never receiving. It sometimes got a little unbearable when the random hookups she scored left without a word, not even so much as a goodbye.
She didn't know how much more she was willing to take.
Jennie decided against staying- Chaeyoung would not be coming back no matter how much she'd wanted her to and Jennie really didn't want to get caught up in yet another heartbreaking affair.
Turning to leave, Jennie dunked both cups of warm beer (why do people even drink the stuff) and walked... right into someone.
"Sorry, could I-" Jennie tried to go around the person but the stranger seemed to persistently get in Jennie's way.
"Hey could you please st-" she tried again, but was silenced by a pair of hungry lips ravaging hers.
