Chapter 1: Hey there, it’s been awhile, I feel like it’s been forever since I’ve opened aff or ao3, and just sit to read sth. But I’m glad I find the time again to do it. Tbh I’ve read this last night but was too tired to comment and went to sleep right after. I think that’s a thing I usually do though. Reading sth before going to sleep, therefore it sinks in my mind and leaks in my dreams. And I’m oh so happy I’ve read this one, that I’ve been ogling for ages but couldn’t find the right time to read.
Your stories have always been so so much colorful, and here again, you’re proving it. I love soulmates AU, not alllll of them, but that part of magic/fate-ish is endearing. And I just love it so much that links between people has sth to do with colors. As someone who got a visual memory (?) not sure if it sounds English, I just really appreciate having to picture what you’re portraying here. Like I could remember exactly what someone gave to me when I was five but can’t recall what I’ve been told yesterday haha.
Anywayyy, I love kaisoo’s relationship so much here, how soft jongin is, and how Kyungsoo is such an adorable piece of love who only wants to love and be loved. And Jongdae, oh Jongdae. I couldn’t love him less. He’s always been special to me, and I really like how you characterized him here. And also, I love that, in the end, it’s not red that wins but all the colors? It’s just my interpretation right, but gold could stand for all the love you know? The blue one + the green and the red. Primary colors mixed together to create the light? Which is most of the time described as gold? So whatever, it all starts with love and ends with it. I love positivity, let’s spread love man.
