I simply felt comfortable with him and it was nice to be able to talk to someone I didn't have to pretend with.”

Meet Eun Hye. A perfectly proper upper class girl of marrying age living during the Chosun dynasty. Enter the mysterious boy who somehow finds his way into her yard one day. Eun Hye takes a liking to him thanks to him being an outsider with many exciting stories to tell. He takes a liking to her thanks to her personality which is very unlike any proper lady he has ever met. They strike an unlikely friendship which continues on throughout the years, saving Eun Hye from the monotony of her life. But who was to know just how cruel their fate would be.
