Prologue
Weird TaleInside the dark corner behind an old box was a cat. It had messy grey fur to cover its whole body that looked like hair needed to be combed. Its whiskers were nothing but resembling wrinkled, solid hair. The tail on its back was covered with scratches and its four legs were so thin that people seeing them could not believe that they could afford balancing the cat's body. Its claws were so sharp and pointy, so dangerous-looking resembling small but long needles. This cat was so thin and fragile-looking, yet seemed to be so lonely. However, the cat's two eyes were blazing yellow in colour and it had a fierce stare, as of it had already been targetting its prey. The teeth, especially canines were too sharp than normal cats did and the canines were too long that the end of them could be seen coming out from the cat's closed mouth. This cat remained motionless like a statue, as if it was playing the mannequin-challenge but by looking at its two eyes, we could know that it was focusing on something.
And that something was a human.
A man could be seen laughing while walking out from a motel. He stopped and turned back as he waved his hands up. When the cat looked up, it could see some men at the veranda waving at him. "Next time just give me a call!" the man said aloud to the other men. The cat far in the corner stood up straight on its four legs when it noticed the human, man was walking away from the motel, and now was coming closer to where the cat was. The cat supposed the man didn't know where it was hiding, and how long it had been watching him, waiting for the man to come out once again from the motel for about hours or so. Nothing could make this cat to wait for a man that long but its interest toward him, strangely toward a human, that lured him in watching this man. The cat was not sure why itself but whenever it saw the man, somehow it could feel a calm and peaceful sensation, a comfortable one
