I walk through the lab surveying the test subjects. I'm a scientist working with some alien subjects that we took when they were little and raised in the lab, I sometimes wonder why I work for people who do such terrible things like stealing these babies.. I still don't know why.

 

as I pass by one of the grown subjects he smiles at me and I feel a slight jolt in my blood stream.

 

"H..how'd you do that?"

 

"Do what?" he looks genially confused. I look into his brown eyes for some time and he jolts a little. "It happened to me"

 

"Sure... just don't do it again" I say as I walk away I hear him protesting behind me. It's been happening for weeks, when we make contact in any way he shocks me. I don't get it honestly.

 

I decide to finish my rounds and go get lunch

As I walk to the lunchroom  I hear footsteps, I turn and its my boss.

 

"Y/N we're gonna need to talk"

 

"yes, sir"

 

we walk into his office and I see the alien subject from before sitting there. "What's he doing here?"

 

"I need to talk to you both about the...things that have been happening to you two"

 

"It's just him doing it" I say as I cross my arms, "right?"

 

my boss looks at me "sit please"

 

I sit and listen

 

"This is Jungkook" he says gesturing to the subject.

 

"Hi there" he says and smiles. I get the jolt again but I don't act like it.

 

"so basically, you two are linked"

 

"we're what" JungKook and I say in unison.

 

"You two are Linked. So you two have the same emotional DNA"

 

"okay that's not a thing! Emotional DNA??" Jungkook exclaims.

 

"It is with your kind of alien"

 

"what kind of alien?" I ask

 

"Half human half alien, we call them Wings"

 

"WHAT?!" we both say at the same time again. "How's the possible?" Jungkook asks.

 

"We don't know but you two being Linked means... you're mates"

 

 

 

 

"I....I cant I'm sorry" as I run out of the room
