On the corner of Sachawan and Gwan-Gi Streets sits The Vanilla Drumstick. Why is this important? I will tell you. It is the meeting place of the most ecclectic band of misfits you will ever find.

This story is totally meant to be a crackfic, so please don't read if you have no sense of humor.
I don't know how often this will updated, as I come up with most ideas by bouncing them off of my co-worker (who will have a couple of chapters that she will be in charge of). Most chapters will be stand-alone, unless noted otherwise, and won't follow any specific timeline.
NO insults are meant/ intended towards any actor, singer, idol OR fandom. My knowledge of aforementioned people is based on popular thoughts and ideas from other fanfic writers and commenters. Some I've had to research a bit so if they are not agreeable with you, please comment to let me know and I will TRY to amend them accordingly, if it will benefit the story.
I do not own any of the photos, but found them online and tweaked some to fit the story.

Foreword
The Vanilla Drumstick
Owned by Hyacinth Corsage, the street noona. Hyacinth is a 30-year-old divorcee who loves being around people. She opened her shop The Vanilla Drumstick in a quiet part of Seoul and this is a collection of stories about the eccentric people who live and work in the area.
Staff:
Lee Rufus, a quiet young man with an obsession for the color orange. Rufus is an immature 30-something guy who lives with his single mom. (His father went out for soju one night and never returned, rumored to be working at a certain vineyard in South America.) He's never been able to hold a job because of his eccentric ways but is happy at the drumstick because he fits in and is accepted for who he is.
Park Pixie, a young girl with multi-colored hair whose favorite candy is Pixie Sticks. Pixie is a 20-year old college student studying fashion design and hoping to intern at Dragon Fashion and Design. Her parents are 'hippies' from the time of the Gwang Ju uprising and have since stopped contributing to a corrupt society. They live in the mountains of Jeollanam-Do and have a tea farm.
Kim Ian, a quiet guy who's also a closet genius. His nickname is Einstein. Einstein is a 48-year-old scientist (chemist) who doesn't like working in controlled lab environments. He conducts his experiments in his own corner of the kitchen. His mom is a librarian and his dad is a linguistics professor.
Most frequent customer/guest:
Choi Greta Garbo, a lovely but expressive adjhumma, with big pineapple earrings and frizzy hair. Greta is a sixty-year-old crazy eccentric woman who loves pineapples and her nephew JunMyeon (SuHo). She owns the laundromat and the local market. She also tries to be the local matchmaker and always gets it wrong.
Shim Ji Hye, best friend of Hyacinth. Ji Hye is the same age as Hyacinth and her best friend since college. She's happy her friend is back in Korea and stops in to see her frequently. She's single and looking for love – she might find it at the Drumstick.
