He doesn’t remember how it was he came to the feet of the Goddess, merely that his mortal death had brought him into Her world. The only thing that he was certain of was the sorrow that lingered like a ghost at his side. When he asked the Goddess how he died, She said only that She looked favorably on him. And so was the story of how a boy became a Reaper.
