Baekhyun didn’t understand. His girlfriend fainted out of nowhere and is now missing for almost an entire week. He’s worried out of his mind but he can’t contact her and their friends are just as lost as he is. His only assurance that she’s okay is her step mother’s constant texts saying that she is.

It obviously wasn’t enough for him but no matter how hard he begged, through text or in person to meet her, she was firm on not telling him where his girl is. “What’s important is that she’s getting better, Baekhyun. Please just leave it at that.”

He wanted to scoff. Ha Eun is his girlfriend. How could he “leave it at that.” He bit his tongue to stop himself from lashing out and being disrespectful. Slowly, calmly, he took a deep breath through his nose. “Auntie, she’s at the hospital, isn’t she? Tell me which one. I won't bother you again, just... just tell me.”

His voice is pleading, his eyes and every fiber of his body. All he wanted was to know where she was, to make sure for himself and see for himself that she is okay. But why wouldn’t her step mother let him? The woman pursed her lips and sighed deeply, shaking her head slightly as she said, “I’m sorry, Baekhyun.”

I currently have a new favorite song and it inspired me to make this story.

This is angst again to balance out all the fluffy ones I wrote previously hehe~

And it’s Baek again bc why ing not? Lol kidding xD

I hope this’ll only be a one-shot tho… I don’t think I have time to write a lot or even just 3 chapters but we’ll just see how it goes.
