Old Friend
Description
My first ever fanfic :))
Foreword
It has been a busy day for Hyukjae since it’s the start of his examination. But he can’t seem to focus on it because he kept on thinking about Donghae. His best friend who’s supposed to leave on Saturday and he only found out about it yesterday. He’s not mad on Donghae for not telling him something this important earlier. He just can’t understand why... why he has to be the last person.
So while walking on the way home, Hyukjae decided to take a detour and went to Donghae’s house. He don’t understand why he suddenly felt nervous. And when he reached the house, he’s surprised by the looks of it.
FOR SALE.
He thought only Donghae is moving to the States. He didn’t know that his mother and brothers will too. Looking at his second home, he suddenly felt sad and empty. It’s just Thursday. Maybe they’re still there... he thought.
He started calling Donghae. He doesn’t want to accept the fact just yet. He tried calling him with all his voice. Shouting, tears slowly fell in his cheeks. He felt someone tap his back.
“Kid, whoever you’re calling, won’t come anymore. I think they left already. I saw them leaving with all their things 3 hours ago...” The old lady from the neighborhood told Hyukjae with sad eyes.
Hyukjae didn’t know if he should thank the old lady for saying those things to him. He just nodded and decided to leave. He still can’t believe that his best friend left already. People staring at him while walking because he keeps on sobbing and he looked like a mess.
He reached their front door when he saw an airplane at the sky. He shouted, “Yah~! Lee Donghae! How dare you leave me like this! I thought you’re gonna leave on Saturday! How could you... I didn’t even say a proper good bye to you... I didn’t even say that...that...I...love...you....” The last part was hardly audible.
