"Wait!"

Yoongi glued his eyes to Beryl's smiling lips and just as the man who was bound to announce that it was time for the execution when the clock chimed eight, Yoongi's voice was the only thing that invaded the deafening silence of the palace in between the second and third dongs of the gong.

Yoongi never regretted his choice, even when everyone looked at him with pure confusion and dissatisfaction, he didn't care, really. He didn't know why he stopped the execution from taking place all of a sudden, but he knew that it felt right to at least try and give her a second chance to repent and seek his forgiveness.

"Do you have one last wish?" Yoongi's loud, proud voice filled the palace once again, mentally smiling at his decision as he looked right through Beryl's lifted eyes.

Beryl knew exactly what he had in mind—he wanted to make her beg and humiliate herself in front of him so he can forgive her for something she never really did so he could feed his selfishness. But she was far more smart to do such a thing, and instead, it was her very own turn to see him being humiliated—and hopefully to see him begging for mercy too.

Oh! How much I want to see you on your knees!
