Good Roleplays are dying, and it's the members faults.
Roleplay Reviews: Stop forcing people to turn on notifications, people have lives, work and parents .You remember back in 2012, when AFF was the goldmine of facebook roleplays, when there was an rp for everything, and they were all active, fun, and enjoyable.
2019, is the death of roleplays I am pretty sure and lemme give a few reasons why, and if you're an admin maybe you can change these things to make it live on.
1) Lying about the activity, false advertisement of your roleplay.
If your roleplay is dying, acknowledge its death and revamp, DO NOT lie to people and say its alive. People join and expect to have a good time with everyone. But, when we get there the only welcome post we get is from the main admin. Just revamp.
2) Cliques, and Cliquing. ITS BAD.
A lot of Admins push this under the rug because 9/10 they are a part of that clique so they don't do anything about it. WHICH IS UNPROFESSIONAL. Cliques can happen and make PLENTY of members feel left out, and not appreciated and you wanna know what that leads to. People leaving. Stop this. You have to encourage all of your members to get along and speak with one another.
3) Keep IN CHARACTER DRAMA on the DL (unless youre an AU rp)
No one wants to join a roleplay and find out Bae Chea Ter has been unfaithful to their partner Lee Tells Everyone. It's excessive and unfair. Gives the rp a very bad taste when you just let this occur. Tell them to knock it off. Its a roleplay, not jerry springer.
