Description

Yoongi decided, that the worst tragedy of all, had to be being in love with his own best friend.

 

 

At fourteen, Yoongi convinced himself that the feelings he felt for Wonhye would disappear any time soon. Now, at almost nineteen, his heart seemed to beat faster than it had been he was fourteen, and impulses to bring his fingertips to touch Wonhye’s sunkissed skin only grew stronger and stronger rather than waning into thin air.

He cannot fathom how a small curve on Wonhye’s lips managed to turn his mind into a raging hurricane; how her calloused fingers grazing against his could release vicious butterflies to flutter vehemently against his chest down to his stomach and how she could make him feel ineffable emotions, all at once, whenever her contact ID appeared on the luminous LED screen on his phone.

Chapter 1: The thing about this story is, it's painful to read.

And by that, I mean you have delivered the feelings you want to convey in so fine a way that the readers ache along with Yoongi.

We feel sad and frustrated as to why Yoongi wasn't able to find his grip to face his fear, even though it's the only way for him to achieve happiness. But the funny thing is, it's also a hard slap in the face for (i bet many of) us. Since, it's easy to spot the fault in Yoongi's conduct but we can't even do better than him. We still submit to our own fear, and avoid the risks of being rejected, only to walk into a certain path which is the lost of the very thing we genuinely desire.

So good job there! Thank you for writing this and reminding me to stop being so willingly defeated by my own doubts before it crushes me completely. :)))

Chapter 1: This is so breathtakingly beautiful! You wrote it so well to the point I could feel yoongi heart shattered into pieces. It pains me a lot when they exchanged vows and there r yoongi at the other side feeling so defeated and helpless. ;((((((( you did well thank you for writing this.
