seven is the magical number.
i. Wanbyeok Entertainment was popular for, well, being the opposite of popular. This small company that was founded in 2005 is the epitome of failure: actors, actresses, models, soloist, k-pop groups, you name it, nothing has been successful under their brand. Their artists either switch to a new company or drop out of the industry. They became the laughing stock of the internet and everybody knew that Wanbyeok was a complete joke.
ii. Right at the brink of Wanbyeok being torn down, the CEO was struck with a genius plan—instead of totally starting from scratch, why not pick out people who were already famous? And so, he began his recruitment of girls who have once been in the spotlight, thanks to a video of them showcasing their talents having gone viral or they simply received a lot of hype for their beauty. He managed to gather seven pretty, talented girls, all who shared the same dream and passion for music and sent them off in hopes they would be the breakthrough that Wanbyeok desperately needed.
iii. And they were. The seven girls, best known by their group name Three D, became a major hit. Their careers were the rebirth of Wanbyeok and the company owed its soul to them. Unfortunately, Wanbyeok got too greedy. They were too happy with the power, money and fame they now had, and demanded more from the girls. The company became evil. Bit by bit, they ruined more and more of the girls' lives.
iv. A celebrity relationship just for publicity. Forced plastic surgery. Insane diets for the one who weighs a little over fifty. Worst of all, using a minor for ual advances. Wanbyeok Entertainment was a monster in the form of a company.
v. All the girls have are each other—this is the story of how they struggle, all their pain and troubles, and if they'll ever find justice for themselves.
moonlight.
arin says. So this idea suddenly smacked me out of nowhere, and I couldn't help but voice it out. 'Three D' is actually only the group's nickname and to make it easier for international fans to pronounce: the group name is actually dal-eui ddal deul, which means "daughters of the moon", kinda inspired by loona's korean name. Also, Wanbyeok Entertainment is fictional, in case anybody's googling it up...
The story is wholly inspired from nothing to be honest, but some aspects of the story come from the brutal reality of the k-pop industries aka ty companies and poor idols being treated like dirt. Hence, despite the presence of minor-aged characters, the story will be more on the mature side. So yes. lots of darkness, angst, tears.
I really hope people wanna apply for this... Anybody is welcome ok I love u ;_;
