Meet our heroine, Mitsumine Nana.

She was your typical seventeen-years-old introverted wallflower: quiet, timid, and indifferent. Nobody really paid attention to her at school and she'd be more than happy keep it that way. She didn't keep any close company around. Teachers knew her as a smart and quiet girl. Other kids simply knew her as a nerd. She stayed out of trouble and her grades were good enough to pass high school in flying colors. She didn't have any siblings and her parents travelled a lot due to the nature of their work. But for most of the time they weren't away, they didn't hover much and let her be.

In her honest opinion, she liked how things were going. It was perfect. She loved her space. But her perfect little world turned into a whirlwind of chaos when suddenly both of her parents died in an accident. She wasn't allowed to live on her own since she wasn't eighteen yet, so the social welfare department sent her to the care of her only remaining blood-related family: her grandfather, who was also happened to be a well-respected Shinto Priest. Problem was, she had to give up her comfort zone in Tokyo for this ancient shrine deep in the forest of Chichibu, Saitama Perfecture. Which easily means no fast internet access, no big libraries, no vinyl stores, no subways, everyone was closely related and just wouldn't leave her alone. She'd go to a small, unknown local high school, live in a remote shrine where the signal was only strong enough to make a phone call and text, and be a part of Chichibu's mundane society where something as insignificant as the arrival of The Great Priest's granddaughter could propel her to fame in a blink of an eye.

But that really wasn't the worst.

On her first day in that gloomy small town, people already told her,
