Snowflakes danced in the chilly winds outside, falling onto the white ground of snow. I watched my reflection in the mirror; staring, watching, observing. Slightly trembling, I covered myself with a woolen shawl laying on the white hospital bed.
“I want to go outside…” I murmured, pressing up against the glass. My short breaths fogged up the glass, creating a hazy view of the outside world. I turned around to face the three other people in the room. “Don’t you?”
“If only,” The girl sitting next to me added, looking wistfully at the snowflakes.
“If only we weren’t ill.”
