"Jessica?"

"Yes?"

"Will you get that book for me?"

"Sure!"  I went to our bookshelf and gave Sarah the book she wanted.

I, now, lived happily and freely. I stayed in an apartment with my friend and worked as a dance teacher. I didn’t have the perfect education for anything else. My friend, Sarah, worked in a bakery and is the best baker I know, like seriously! She knew my story and accepted me, and because of her I have friends and people that are nicer than before.

"I find you beautiful" she would say. I loved her for that.

It was midnight but it's ok, it's Saturday tomorrow. Thank god dance teachers don’t mark books. When I got tired I bid Sarah goodbye and jumped on my bed in my room as I drifted off.

"Hello? Hello?"

"Jessica…" I heard my name as it was said faintly.

"Hello?" I said again.

"I miss you…" It was faint but I could make out his voice and the words that he said.

"No….."

shivers run down my back, I took steps backward but froze in place when I felt cold hands on my shoulders. I slowly turned around but saw no-one. I looked round and it was pitch black. I felt a tap on my shoulder as I spun around to see nothing. I was lost confused and scared. A kiss was planted on my cheek as I turned my head in that direction. I heard a gasp escape my lips.

Mark.

"I missed you." He said.

"Mark." The word was let out of my lips but I couldn’t hear it.

"Why did you leave?" He said accusingly. I stepped backward as he stepped towards me.

"Mark."

 I could say nothing else. My back slammed against an invisible wall. His hand slammed flat on the wall next to my head.

I screamed. My eyes shot open and realized it was a nightmare. I let out a huff of air and walked down stairs. I filled a glass cup of water as I entered the room. I felt colour drain from my face, shivers running from their life down my back, I heard glass smash. There sat Sarah with a guest.

"Are you ok?" Sarah asked. No word was said out of my lips. The guest smirked as he glared deep into my eyes.
