after yg entertainment decided to debut girl group e2w, they made a plan to follow them with a boy group that they would call c2c. coast to coast, to match with the theme of east to west for the girls. these six boys were sure to enchant fans with their talents and visuals, not to mention their personalities and capability to write and produce music for themselves and their sister group e2w. 

however, where e2w's debut went off without a hitch, c2c hit... complications. 

first it was the addition of jace to the lineup, when yg decided they would be better off as a six member lineup. but things continued to snowball and their debut date was pushed back and pushed back until one thing led to another and suddenly, c2c was faced with yet another drastic change. 

would they ever make it to debut? at this rate, it seemed unlikely. e2w had already ended promotions for their debut album and were back to the practice rooms, but c2c hadn't even begun to think about spreading their wings and leaving the ground. 

it seemed they were doomed before they even had the chance to truly begin.
