It is raining hard, luckily the thunderstorm isn’t  accompanying. Soaked in the rain, she runs to the nearest coffee shop and goes inside to take shelter and warm herself. “one hot choco..do you have bread ? or cheesecake ?” she ordered timidly. After paying she thanked the cashier and sit near the shop’s wide tv. The owner saw her and think that the girl wants to watch the tv, so he turns it on. The girl jumps off her seat caused by the volume and looks around the place. She mumbled “sorry” and sat back.

“..police’s statement, they have released the suspect because of the lack of evidence…”

Too focused on the news, she startled when the waitress put down her order, she muttered ‘sorry’ again. Holding the mug and staring at it, her mind went blank, that is normal think for Kang Seulgi.

“from result indicated that the suspect is a psychopath, but the police couldn’t keep him more than 48 hours. One of crime unit…”

The world is chaos. Seulgi hurriedly drinks the hot choco so it won’t be cold choco. She almost forgot about the cheesecake, but it is already past 10 p.m. so she asked to take out instead.

Luckily the rain has stopped. Seulgi walks normally while humming a song. She lived by herself in a small house or apartment. She doesn’t even know how to call it, it’s a house but she lived on the 2nd roof, and the owner said she should’ve brought a roommate so she can pay a half of it. Feeling offended by the owner, Seulgi said that she has no friend. Sure she has a partner to work but no friend.

Jumps a little on each pavement, Seulgi puffed her cheeks and enter the code. She frowned to see someone is standing on the sidewalk. It is a man with black hoodie covered his head, and he wears a mask. Seulgi doesn’t have any male friend who knows her address, so who is he?

The man’s POV

A girl is entering the code. She is looking at me, I know what is she thinking right now. She closed the door. Maybe she is scared since the news already spread. I take off my mask and realized the breeze isn’t so cold anymore. I start to walk away when a girl calls someone, but no one is here except me. I stop on my track and turn to her. She runs to me and handed a business card? what does she mean?

“I lived on the 2nd floor, the 1st room is empty so you can rent it. You were standing there so I think you need my help to find the owner’s address…here, you can take it..mister…good night!” she smiled and left me with the card.

My guess was wrong. She is one of a kind.
