Dara's POV

"I don't  think this kind of act is necessary.  I can go home on my own.  Di mo na ako kailangang ihatid pa. "

I said as I looked at Kris.  He's  sitting next to me.  We're  inside his car and as usual, he just gave me a serious look. 

"As I said earlier, I just want to protect you.You're my girlfriend,right? Wag mo kasing gawing big deal ito. Just let me do my part as your boyfriend. "
He said as he lean his back and put  his earphones on.  

I just sighed.

"By the way,  those girls who's with you earlier, are they  close to you? "
He asked while his sight is outside the window.  

"Yeah.  They're  my best  friends. "
I answered. 

"I see. "

"Anyway, can I ask you something?"
I said.  He looked at me with his serious face as usual.  

"What is it? "

"There's  a lot of girls out there. Bakit di ka na lang manligaw?  Siguradong di ka naman mahihirapan magkaroon ng totoong girlfriend. " 

I said as I looked out the window.  

"No one has caught my interest yet and besides I don't  like the idea of having a girl friend. "

He answered.

"I see. "

I just nodded.  I don't  know why but i feel disappointed knowing that he really don't  take this relationship seriously. That this is all just a game.  We're  only pretending. Why do I feel so upset about it samantalang sumang-ayon din naman ako sa set up na ito?  

"By the way,  are you free? May gagawin ka ba pag uwi mo?  Kung wala,  can I invite you for dinner? " 

Napatingin ako sa kanya.  

"Hmm.  Wala naman.  Pero bakit kailangan mo pa kong isama sa magdinner? "

I asked but deep inside I feel something weird. Am I happy?  

"If you don't  like it then I  won't  force you. Sorry. " 

Sabi niya na parang disappointed.  

"Okay.  Sige. "

Sa huli ay sabi ko.  He looked at me and smiled.  Gosh!  He smiled at me!  It's  rare to see him smiling. 

"It suits you. "

I said as i smiled a bit. 

"Ang alin? " At kumunot na naman ang noo.  

"Ang ngumiti. Bagay sayo pag nakangiti ka alam mo ba yon?" 

He looks away.  

"Don't try to flatter me. "

"I'm  not flaterring you. I'm  just saying what i have  observed. "

"Whatever."

I just laughed a bit. 

Later,  we already arrived at Deanna's mansion.  

"Dito tayo magdidinner? "

I asked.  

"Yeah. Nagpaluto ako." 

"O-okay. "
