Description

Something cracks inside her. Something inside her snaps in two unequal parts. Something hurts so much, inside; she wants it to stop. Seulgi tries to make it stop.

Foreword

This is my first attempt at oneshots. I am hoping this is at least readable, and at best enjoyable. I wrote this for me, mostly. Tried to find some closure in it. If you, too, you have lost someone you loved dearly - hold on. Please hold on. Always hold on.

Chapter 1: I’ve been coming to that story back and forth over the years, reading and re-reading it. There’s something absolutely appealing and poetic in the way you describe the grieving. I lost someone I love not long ago... and I remember that story once again. As I read it brought me tears and comfort. In grief you feel absolutely alone.. thank you for making me feel a little bit less alone.

Chapter 1: I was reading this while listening to Unsteady. I really can't help but imagine Jonghyun as Joohyun's brother here. It was too painful. The fact that he's a younger brother made me think otherwise so that helped.

There's a lot of great lines here. My favorite is "Seulgi wonders how to hold on to her without breaking her." This was such a tragically beautiful story.

You're a wonderful author, I'm looking forward to your future work <3
