After eating, the maknae was assigned to clean up while Daehwi and Jinyoung were assigned to clean the mess they made in the living room.

 

"Ya, guan lin. Remember to segregate" minhyun reminded before leaving guan lin alone in the kitchen

 

"But there's too much" guan lin complained as he tried to separate the plastic from the papers and from the cans

 

"Here, let me help you" jihoon offered when he went back in the kitchen with black garbage plastics in his hands

 

"Hyuuuunnnngggg" guan lin's face immediately lit up upon seeing jihoon

 

"Neh, neh. You're welcome. Here" jihoon patted guan lin's head by tiptoeing with all his might

 

"Yah. You're the maknae but you're also the tallest. It kinda hurts my pride" jihoon clicked his tongue as he lightly flicked guan lin's forehead

 

"Ah hyung. It stings" guan lin rubbed his forehead as he pouted "it's not my fault that you were born short" jihoon's eyes widened at guan lin's comment, the moment he turned to face guan lin, guan lin was already at the other end of the long table

 

"Hyung mianhe" guan lin was rubbing his hands together

 

"Yah yah. Illeowa. Come here, you punk" jihoon put down the trash and started chasing guan lin around the table

 

"Hyung hyung. Stop it. Mianhe" guan lin was wailing at the same time laughing his off

 

"I wont forgive you. Gotcha" jihoon was able to grasp on guan lin's shirt which sent guan lin stumbling back

 

"Hyung HYUNG HYUNG!" guan lin's dolphin laugh was heard all through out the house as he was tickled by jihoon

 

"Who's short? Who's short?" Jihoon pertinently asks

 

"Ha Sungwoon hyung, HA HA HA SUNGWOON HYUNG!" guan lin laughed as he tried to stop jihoon's hands

 

"Good, that's it" jihoon stopped and smiled triumphantly as he returned cleaning while leaving guan lin breathless on the floor

 

"H-hyung, you're cruel" guan lin was trying to catch his breath while wiping his tears away

 

"Ppali. Let's finish up" jihoon gave guan lin an apologetic smile and decided to help him up

 

"Hyung" guan lin swallowed some air before continuing "please don't ever do that again, I think I'll die and I'm only 17." His statement made jihoon laughed out loud

 

"Aigoo. You're such a baby. Let's hurry up, it's getting late" jihoon patted guan lin's before they resumed cleaning up

 

Meanwhile, in the living room, daehwi and jinyoung were busy cleaning the floor while the rest of their hyungs were sprawled on the couch and carpet in front of the tv.

 

"This is your fault" daehwi accused jinyoung

 

"Wae? You were the one who first showed me the mini pool" jinyoung defended as he set the mop aside

 

"Yeah but you were the one who wanted to dip our feet inside the pool" daehwi pouted and wiped the floor with a clean rag

 

"Why are we even arguing about whose fault it was? It was clearly both of our doings" jinyoung sighed as he looked at jisung who was lying on his stomach while seongwoo tried to massage jisung's waist

 

"We should do something" daehwi suggested as he looked at Jinyoung earnestly 

 

"Like what?" Jinyoung turned to daehwi while blinking his eyes

 

"Come here" daehwi pulled jinyoung and whispered something in his ear which left Jinyoung bewildered 

 

"Ya, we can't. We'll be dead if we're caught" jinyoung refused and took the mop to the storage room just beside the kitchen

 

"Hyung hyunng. Jebal. I feel so guilty" daehwi pleaded as he tailed jinyoung behind

 

"No, let us just stay put and out of trouble" jinyoung closed the storage room's door and turned to daehwi who was putting on the most pitiful expression with both of his hands clasped right in front of his face

 

"Jebal? Just this once?" Daehwi pouted and jinyoung sighed

 

"Alright but we can't do this alone, we need an accomplice" jinyoung rubbed his chin as he looked around and luckily, jihoon and guan lin were heading out of the kitchen with the plastic garbage bags in their hands

 

"Jihoon hyung!" Jinyoung grinned widely as he ran over and took the plastic bags from jihoon's hands

 

"Oh jinyoung. Wink" jihoon held out his fist and jinyoung bumped it with his fist

 

"Deep. Ah hyung, can we ask a favor?" Jinyoung dragged jihoon outside the house while daehwi dragged guan lin with him

 

"What's going on?" Guan lin asked daehwi but daehwi just gave him the 'shhh' sign and when they finally reached the trash bin just outside the house, they formed a mini circle

 

"Jinyoung-ah, what's this about?" Jihoon asked and turned to jinyoung

 

"Hyung, will you and guan lin cover for us while we're gone?" Jinyoung asked and daehwi nodded as both of them stared at jihoon who was just blinking at them, trying to understand the situation

 

"Yah, lee daehwi. Micheoseo? Are you crazy?" Guan lin was bewildered at their proposed actions

 

"Ya, ya. Don't speak to me informally, I'm your hyung" daehwi lightly hit guan lin's head

 

"We're born on the same year. Stop talking nonsense" guan lin scoffed and hit daehwi back in which daehwi also hit back immediately, both of them were bickering and hitting each other whereas jihoon and jinyoung were both talking and ignoring the two

 

"Do you want to get in trouble? Jeongmal?" Jihoon asked while clickig his tongue

 

"But hyung, we're just gonna be out quick to buy an ice pack for jisung hyung's and that's it" jinyoung explained, trying to convince jihoon but jihoon looked doubtful so jinyoung continued

 

"Hyung, jisung hyung's in pain and that's because of us" he pointed daehwi and himself

 

"I know, that's why but why are you dragging me and guan lin in this?" Jihoon shook his head in disagreement

 

"Hyung, jebal. Just this once." Jinyoung pleaded while showing his index finger to jihoon

 

"Fine" jihoon sighed in defeat and jinyoung grinned widely while hugging jihoon tightly

 

"But, but. If you get caught, me and guan lin are out of it. Arasseo?" He made an agreement with jinyoung

 

"Neh neh neh. Wink" jinyoung showed his fist to jihoon but jihoon just blankly looked at it

 

"Ah hyung, ppali" jinyoung whined and grabbed jihoon's hand, wanting him to bump his fist

 

"Fine fine. Deep" jihoon weakly bumped his fist with jinyoung's

 

"Hyung, jinjja gomawo" jinyoung was grinning and when both of them turned to look at guan lin and daehwi, they were shocked to see both guan lin and daehwi pulling each other's sideburns

 

"I'm your hyung" daehwi gritted his teeth and pulled guan lin's sideburns harder

 

"Ani, we're born on the same year. We're chingus" guan lin groaned as he bit on his lower lip while pulling on daehwi's sideburns harder

 

"Yah, yah. Both of you, stop that" jihoon stepped in and tried to stop both of them

 

"Daehwi, stop that. Release guan lin's sideburns" jinyoung tried to pull daehwi's hands

 

"Only if he releases mine first" daehwi didn't let go

 

"Fine, let's release at the same time" guan lin agreed and daehwi nodded

 

"Okay, we'll count to three and both of you let go. One, two, three!" Both jihoon and jinyoung counted off for both of them and when it was on the third count, as expected, both guan lin and daehwi didn't let go

 

"Waah, you guys are unbelievable" jinyoung was baffled and facepalmed his self

 

"Guys, please stop it. Guan lin-ah, listen to hyung" jihoon persuaded guan lin and indeed, guan lin was the first one to let go

 

"Daehwi, your turn" jihoon looked at daehwi and he also released guan lin's sideburns

 

"Good" jinyoung grinned widely and clapped his hands meanwhile, guan lin and daehwi broke down and rubbed their sideburns

 

"Ah jinjja hyung, it hurts" guan lin pouted as he look at jihoon

 

"Gwaenchana, gwaenchana" jihoon patted guan lin's head and then turned to jinyoung and daehwi "ya, you better buy us ice cream. Look at guan lin, he's in pain"

 

"Ya hyung, I'm also in pain, look at how red my skin is" daehwi tried to showed jihoon his sideburns

 

"Ya lee daehwi, how am I supposed to see your skin under all this hair" jihoon chuckled and pushed daehwi's head away

 

"Hyung, I'm hurt" daehwi jokingly grabbed his chest and turned to jinyoung

 

"Aish, kaja. You're such a baby" jinyoung laughed and pulled on daehwi's hood down to cover all of his face

 

"Hyung, we'll get going. We'll be back, promise" jinyoung bowed lightly as he pulled on his hood and tied the strings tightly to cover half of his face

 

"Neh, annyeong. Take care" jihoon waves his hands as both him and guan lin watched jinyoung and daehwi slip stealthily outside the gate

 

"Let's head back in" jihoon patted guan lin's shoulder as they walked their way back in the house

 

"But hyung, won't the rest of our hyungs find out anyway by the time they get back? I mean how would daehwi and jinyoung hyung acquire those, right? They'll eventually find out that they went out to buy" guan lin was just thoughtlessly speaking what was in his mind but this realization just sinked in Jihoon's mind which made him stop in his tracks

 

"But, we should still-" guan lin kept talking and walking but stopped when he realized jihoon was not beside him so he turned around just to see that jihoon was just standing a few steps away from him with wide eyes 

 

"Hyung? Are you okay?" Guan lin closed the gaps between them and looked at jihoon concernedly

 

"Guan lin-ah. We're doomed" jihoon bit his lower lip as he meet guan lin's gaze.

So, if you can notice that I don't have genre tags, it is because I am not really sure on which genre to focus on, I kinda just write whatever I want or whatever comes in minds. I guess you can say that I may write chapters which can really be a surprise like, it may contain a bit of a thriller or a bit of a romance or a bit of action 😉

Anyways, I hoped you liked this update 🙈 You'll probably (and hopefully) be meeting the girl character a few chapters from now ㅋㅋㅋㅋ. 안녕~
