although the affroleplay tag is much less active than it used to be, i'm hoping the upcoming summer months will allow for people to rp more. even if summer means vacation and plans. whispers. me, who has no life. self-blow, ouch. now with that said, my finals finish in two weeks and i was wondering if anyone would be interested in a 3rd pov pacific rim!au affroleplay?

pacific rim is a movie that you should definitely watch if you already haven't. some people think it's great, some hate it, but i think the world-building and idea behind it is incredible so how? could? this not? be? considered? basically, there are these huge lizard monsters called kaijus that come from a portal at the bottom of the pacific ocean (oh? pacific? i think i see some lights going off?) and they like to destroy things - things being cities and humanity - so the humans counter these monsters with huge robot people things called jaegers. jaegers are piloted by 2 or more people that require a process called drifting, which is where a neural/mental bond is formed between the pilots so their minds will work as one when commanding the jaeger. all of the operation takes place at a base where there is research and development, the making of jaegers, training, housing, and more. the only action that happens outside of the base would be fighting actual kaijus, or maybe visiting the city once in a while. this au would require for pilots and those who work behind the scenes! very important people! marshalls, commanders, mechanics, scientists, designers, medics, care-taking staff, etc. and has lots of potential for different plots/relationships within the rp. whispers. don't worry, you don't really have to know what you're talking about - i'm interested in making my character a medic and i have no knowledge behind health sciences at all.

this would be a third point of view, pacific rim-themed alternate universe affroleplay and i was wondering if others would be interested and willing to be active? because it would take a lot of time and management towards organizing this roleplay - which i plan for different stories/threads to be made for different facilities (which allows for roleplaying beyond one-on-one, if you're adventurous), a form that will pair you with another jaeger pilot for compatibility, etc. and i wouldn't want to start something that no one would want to participate in.
