Momo is sitting at the dining table in the trinity’s dorm, as she spun her mobile phone on the table out of boredom, while Mina went out for work at AceAid. She sat and waited for Sana, until her impatient personality got better of her.

“Sana-ah, what are you doing that takes you so long?” Momo asked in exasperation, as she stood up her chair.

Momo and Sana were supposed to go out to shop today, but Sana seemed to be busy on her laptop, surfing the web. Looks like Sana is not getting her priorities right.

“Wait a while more, I am still not done with my stuff.” Sana replied hastily, acting like she is actively on her task, even though in reality she was just binge watching anime. If Momo caught her in the act, she would be so furious Sana would have to seek treatment from Mina at her workplace. Luckily, Sana closed the tab, and changed to a research tab before Momo could take a peek at her computer screen.

“Argh!!!” Momo shouted. “Fine, I’m going out by myself!”

Before Sana could react, Momo left the dorm with her bag and her valuables. Lightly stepping down the stairs and leaving the building, she was met with a bustling street. Some people were brisk walking past the street, while others stopped to check out the numerous stalls and shops that are littered at the side of the street, who sell stuff ranging from food to gadgets.

Momo was glancing through the stalls and shops while taking a stroll, when an aroma hit her. She followed the smell, which led her to a small shop. It did not seem like the most appealing shop, with the paint slightly wearing off. Momo stared at the shop sign, which said:

Jokbal Palace; the best jokbal in town!

“Hmm…” Momo felt sceptical of the shop. After all, how would a shop that look like this possibly sell good food? However, she decided to have a try after thinking hard. It won’t hurt to give it a try, she thought.

With that, she pushed the door, and was met with a counter at the right, with seats at the left in the interior of the shop. It looked like it was renovated decades ago, but it was surprisingly well maintained. Momo, however, could not help but notice how outdated the decorations of the shop were.

“Hello!” The person at the counter greeted excitedly, evidently happy to see a customer. “How may I help you?”

“Err…” Momo mumbled. “What is the best dish you got?”

The person told Momo that the jokbal there is incredibly delicious. She heard his words, then decided to buy half a box, just in case it tasted bad.

“Hey, don’t buy so less!” The person said after hearing Momo’s order. “How about this, you can have a bite, then decide whether the food is nice!”

Momo thought for a second, before nodding her head. The person then cut out a small piece of meat, then passed it to Momo across the counter. Momo took it, and put it into and chewed it. To her surprise, it tasted incredible. The meat was very tender and juicy, and does not have a bad aftertaste.

“Wow, this is incredible! I want two boxes of this jokbal you have.” Momo exclaimed, still pleasantly shocked by the taste of the food.

The person smiled widely before packing two boxes of the food meticulously and passing it to Momo.

“That will be ten dollars, thank you.” The owner said, as he passed the boxes of jokbal to Momo.

Wow, this is cheap, considering the quality of the food, she thought, as she handed a note to the person and took the food before leaving the shop. She then went to buy fruit juices for herself, and walked around for a little longer.

"Wow, this place is indeed incredible!" Momo exclaimed. Before she knew it, she bought a lot of stuff that she did not need, such as an automatic apple cutter, and a small massager. Even though two hours have passed, it felt like a blink of an eye for Momo. By the time she made her way back, the sun is setting, its warm red rays shining at the ground of the street.

Momo skipped happily, her bags full of her stuff bouncing, as she made her way back to the dorm. When she stepped into the living room, Sana’s eyes were still glued on to the computer. When she smelled the food, she looked up to see an exceptionally happy peach, holding bags containing stuff ranging from fruit juice, to food, to accessories. 

“Wahh, what did you buy? It smells so good!” Sana asked with her squirrel-like eyes wide, staring at the food. Her stomach rumbled as her words landed. It seemed like it had been a while since Sana had her last meal.

“Hmph, even if I told you, you won’t be having any of it, cause you did not follow me down to the street! You can have a bottle of the fruit juice though.” Momo teased, as she hugged her food towards the dining table, ready to have a feast on her own.

“Hey, I’m sorry! Just give me a bite!” Sana pleaded, as she went after Momo. Momo ran to the dining table and put her food away from Sana, despite Sana's wishes. By the time Sana reached the dining table, Momo could be seen enjoying the food that she bought. Sana tried to flatter Momo into giving her a portion, even though Momo did not buy that.

“Maybe if you accompany me next time, I will share with you!” Momo replied, as she stuck her tongue out.

Just then, the door was unlocked, and someone entered the dorm. Momo immediately stopped chewing, while Sana rushed back to her laptop and started researching.

Mina had came back home from work.
