It was a cool summer night.

And with summer, comes Summer Fireworks

Minseok, Jongdae, Baekhyun, Kyungsoo, and Joonmyeon were staying in a guesthouse for a vacation. They had agreed to round their money together and would go to see summer fireworks, a bit away from the city. After a lot of discussion, they all agreed to go to Okinawa, which according to Google, is a great place to go on holidays.

They all went by train, enjoying the refreshing green mountain view.

“Hyung” a voice called out

“Hm?” Minseok looked at the owner of the voice “what is it Jongdae?”

“Can we get our own room at where we’ll stay? You know, room for the adults~” Jongdae said with a smirk as he slings his arm around the elder’s shoulder

“” Minseok said as he laughed and lightly punched Jongdae’s arm

“You’re the one to blame for being cute though~” Jongdae then playfully bite the other’s cheek, earning a yelp and giggle from the elder, which earned unneeded attention from people around them, who sent gazes on them

“so-sorry” Minseok said as a blush crept onto his cheeks, bowing as he apologizes.

“Can you guys not do that here?” Baekhyun said as he rolled his eyes at the couple in front of him

“You’re just jealous because Chanyeol couldn’t come with us” Jongdae stuck his tongue out at the brunette

Baekhyun snorts at the sentence before deciding to bother Kyungsoo instead

“yah, Kyungie-ya~ How’s your-“ he was cut short when Kyungsoo, who’s leaning on the window, opened his eyes to glare at the male, clearly interrupted from his attempt to get some shuteye

“Just be sure you guys don’t do anything while we’re in Okinawa. I don’t want Minseok limping all the time we’re there” Joonmyeon, or Suho, as they call him, said as he flipped the page of his magazine

“Yes, Dad” Jongdae said as he rolled his eyes, then chuckled

“We’re finally here~” Baekhyun said as he stretches to relief his muscles

“The show is tonight, so don’t do anything stupid-“

“Or DemonSoo will kill you in a horrible way” Baekhyun joked, earning himself a loud slap on the back from none other than Kyungsoo himself

“Come on, let’s get inside” Jongdae said as he held Minseok’s hand, smiling at him before walking into the guest house

“Well, at least this place is worth the money” Kyungsoo said flatly as he turned the lights on, revealing a clean and tidied space. It was not so big, but it had a home feeling to it.

And to top it all off, the house had a clear view to the area a bit far from them, where the firework show will be held

It was nearing dusk, and lights can be seen on the area near them

“Hey, I bought something that we can cook for tonight’s watching~” Minseok said as he entered the house, back from the nearby market.

“You went out like half an hour ago, what took your time?” Kyungsoo asked as he helped Minseok put the groceries on the kitchen counter

“There were so many weird food ingredients here, I just had to look at them one by one” the male laughed softly

“Well, go take a bath, I think the show is about to start” Soo smiled, earning a nod from the elder

Minseok made his way to the bathroom, clean clothes, neatly folded on his arm

He opened the bathroom window, only to find that the bath was filled.

Not only filled. Jongdae was in the tub

“J-Jongdae! I-I’m sorry! I’ll go now!” Minseok bowed, his face turning red

“Wait” Minseok’s step came to a halt, hearing the younger’s voice “come join me”

“w-what?” Minseok asked, his back still facing the younger

“You heard me, come join me in the tub, it’s not like I haven’t seen you anyway” Jongdae smirked

“...fine, but promise me we won’t do anything, okay?” Minseok said as the blush on his cheeks persist to exist

After earning a hum from his lover, Minseok stripped off his clothes, showered on the separated shower section to clean himself, then dipped in the tub.

The tub was big enough for the two of them, but not big enough for them to be in there without being in each other space. Not like they minded anyway

Minseok was between the younger’s legs, his back touching Jongdae’s (which surprises Minseok) solid chest.

“You’re so cute” Jongdae said he wrapped his arms around the elder’s waist, dipping his face onto Minseok’s neck

“Jongdae...” Minseok’s breath hitched as the younger touched him

“Minnie~ do want to- OH DEAR NEPTUNE- NO JONGDAE I THOUGHT YOU’VE FINISHED” Baekhyun immediately began to shout out nonsense, leaving the confused couple in the bath.

The two of them laughed before Jongdae stood up and walked out from the tub

“Enjoy your bath~” Jongdae said with a smile as he kissed the elder’s forehead

Minseok was refreshed, warm, and happy from the bath. And not to mention, Jongdae holding him in his arms just made everything better

They were sitting on a bench on the house’s small garden, waiting for the firework to start. While Baekhyun, Kyungsoo, and Suho were chatting about their crushes on the table near them

Not long after, a sudden, loud boom, rippled through the air and bright colorful lights illuminates the sky

“It’s beautiful” Minseok said, mesmerized by the sights

“Something’s missing though...” Jongdae said with a small smile

“What is it?” the elder asked, averting his gaze to the younger.

Just then, Jongdae planted a kiss onto the elder’s lips. They kissed for a few seconds, savoring the moment

“That” Jongdae smiled at the elder

Along with the fireworks that night, Minseok saw his own fireworks.
