This fest is open for anyone to join! So please feel free to share this post with anyone you know, even the writers who don’t have Tumblr! You don’t have to be a member of the tumblr network or follow us, but our members will have some advantages which we will mention later in this post. If you become a member before the writing periods starts you will also be able to make use of these!

How it works
Members and admins of Sebaek Scum will come up with prompts that will be divided between the writers. You can send in preferences after the the list of prompts is released.   

When you get your prompt you have just over 6 weeks to write the fic. It can be anything you want, any genre of fic is allowed.  To keep things fair, we wanna keep this competition anonymous, so fics will have to be submitted to us and we will post them for you. However you are free to post the fic anywhere you want under your name after the fest has ended!

After the written fics are submitted we will post them on both AFF and AO3 and will make a setup so people can vote for their favorite fic. The voting will last 2 weeks.

At the end of the fest we will announce 2 winners. One winner will be the person who had the most votes from people in this network. The members and admins will all vote for their favorite fic, making the first winner of the fest. The second winner is the people who got the most votes from all of you. We will combine the votes on AO3 and AFF to come up with a winner. Both winners will be promoted for the whole month of September on our Sebaek Fic Rec Blog, get a special place on the spotlight section on the home page and a special tag in our tag list.
