"Kyuhyun ah... Will you please eat something?" Sungmin asked in a pleading tone as he held out a spoonful of soup, "Just one mouth..."
But Kyuhyun continued in his daze. His eyes seem to be staring at e faraway place. He had been like his since he came back from the funeral two days ago. He hadn't spoken a word, nor had he eaten anything. He would just sit on his bed, not moving for hours no matter what the rest said.
Leeteuk could feel his heart breaking as he stared at his little maknae. He knew this was difficult for Kyuhyun... Amidst all the stressful and packed schedules... All the issues they had to deal with since they debut... Kyuhyun always found strength to carry on. But now that he had lost his only support, it seems that his world had came crashing down.
"Kyuhyun... You do know that your grandfather would not want to see you in this state?" Leeteuk asked gently, putting a hand on the younger one's shoulder, "He will be very upset if he knows you are torturing yourself..."
Kyuhyun's eyes travelled to Leeteuk's face, trying to register his words.
Seeing a slight respond,. Leeteuk took the spoon from Sungmin's hand, "Just one mouth... Please." He held the spoon close to Kyuhyun's pale lips.
Kyuhyun opened his mouth slightly, and Leeteuk gently poured the soup in. The rest sighed in relief.
Leeteuk smiled, ruffling Kyuhyun's head, "That's my boy."
Kyuhyun froze for a second. "That's my boy." That's what his grandfather always said to him too... Whenever he came back with good academic results... Whenever he showed him his performances... Whenever he did something nice... His grandfather would pat his head and say... "That's my boy." With a kind gentle smile.
But now he will never hear that from him again.
Kyuhun looked up into Leeteuk's kind gentle eyes. The emotions that he had been bottling for the past week seems to be rising up... He could feel his body quivering... His eyes growing hot with tears threatening to roll down...
"Kyuhyun..." Leeteuk muttered, tears filling his own eyes as he gathered the boy in his arms. He could feel his shirt getting wet as the boy sobbed his heart out.
The other members looked on, hoping that there is something that they can do for their little brother. Anything at all that could make him feel better. But they knew there isn't.
