OUR STORY: EPILOGUE
Dara woke up when she heard the sounds of chirping birds. She glanced at the clock at the bedside table. Five o’clock, she tought. She turned to her right, expecting her husband still sleeping because she knew how sleepy-head her husband could be.
She frowned when she saw no one on the bed.
Then she heard another light voice, she noticed that the bedroom door was opened. Still bare-footed, she walked toward a certain room, she was pretty sure she knew where her husband at.
The view in front of her made her chest warm. Jiyong, still bare-chested and only with pyjama pants, hair disoriented, cradled their little daughter on his arms, whispering sweet lullabies to her.
“Does little Jiyoon waking her daddy up?” she asked softly as she reached his figure, looking down the cute sleeping girl who happened to have Dara’s eyes, and Jiyong’s nose and lips. “I’m sorry, I didn’t hear her cries...”
Jiyong chuckled, taking Dara’s lips to his, he too, whispered on her lips. “It’s okay, I really love to lull Jiyoon to sleep.” He smiled. “And I know you are too exhausted because of those y rounds we had last night.” He smirked, “I’m sorry I just can’t help it when I see my wife looking-oh-so irresistible.”
She turned into big tomato and gave him a light pinch on his waist. “Aisht!”
He chuckled again, putting the sleeping Jiyoon down to the crib. He then encircled his arms on her slim waist. “Thank you for everything, Dara.” He stared her lips. “Thank you for your second chances, and thank you for the angel you have given me...” Kissed her hard, he whispered again, “I love you so damn much.”
Dara kissed him back, as passionate as he is. “I love you too, Kwon Jiyong, and I thank you too for loving me..” She smiled her prettiest smile. “Till eternity?”
He gave her his big smile, kissing her once again. “Us, till eternity.”
