Description

His blank eyes were but a deep, hollow pit. The more he stares, the more he falls.

Foreword

A loom of awkward quiet stretches in the space between Hoseok and the boy who inadvertently started to mess with his head these past few days. He turns to look at him, and Min Yoongi meets his eyes with a cold, impassive gaze.

"I—I didn't know you like boys," Hoseok mumbles softly. His eyes cast downwards to avoid Yoongi's eyes, his fingers starting to unconsciously jitter on his lap.

"I don't," Yoongi says, his face wearing its habitual expression; blank and bland. He continues, "I like people regardless of . You just happened to be a guy."

Hoseok looks up at him and he automatically feels himself burn under his gaze. For the love of God, Yoongi can just stand there in one corner, do absolutely nothing, and still take Hoseok's breath away.

He is an enigma Jung Hoseok cannot even start to comprehend. He is a mystery that continues to baffle him in more ways than how his College Algebra can. Min Yoongi is a closed book Hoseok desperately wants to read.

But how can he when all his eyes show is a vast abyss of nothingness?
