• Background of The Sacred Princess and the Shrine:

- The shrine was once a home for the Sacred Princess. The Sacred Princess was once the only person in the world to poseess the power of the God. By using that power, the Sacred Princess is able to maintain peace and regulates the energy forces around the world. In the past, there were 5 guardians protecting both the shrine and the Sacred Princess. The 5 guardians are: Nine-Tailed Fox, Griffin, Enormous Yellow Snake, Cetus and Lycaon. The shrine helps to control the energy forces, which is connected to the entire world and making sure it isn't disturbed. With the 5 guardians protecting the shrine, the Sacred Princess also created seals around the shrine to prevent any demons, monsters and ghosts to enter the shrine. The seals are created from 6 artifacts, which are hidden separately and deep within the forest by the princess. However, when these seals are weakened, all these creatures are able to take over the shrine and distrub the energy forces. Because So Eun's grandmother, the descedant of the Sacred Princess, had passed away, the seals surrounding the shrine have weakened.

• 6 Artifacts:

- These 6 artifacts, believed to be the Sacred Princess's accessories, are essential in creating the seals to protect the shrine. All these artifacts are hidden deep within the forest, with 6 monster guards protecting all the artifacts. In order to retreive the artifacts, one has to prove their worthy to the guards. These artifacts are: The Sacred Princess's 2 Neclaces, Bracelet, Hairpin, Earrings, and the most important artifact out of all, the Ring.

• Main Characters:

Kim So Eun:

- The main character in this story. So Eun possessed the power of God within her, but it still haven't awakened yet. She is the next 'Sacred Princess' after her grandmother had passed away. Despite the fact that she is the Sacred Princess, however, she actually have no idea that she is one. She is a very clumsy person and happens to fall down every single time. However, she is also a very observant person and she is very cautious with her surroundings. With the power of God within her, she is able to sense aura and the air surrounding her, allowing her to be extra cautious. As So Eun is the only Sacred Princess after her grandmother, she is also the only one who can find and sense the forces of the 6 essential artifacts and recreating the seals again to protect the shrine.

Lee Jae Hwan (Ken):

- The male lead character in this story. Ken is the first guardian among all 5 guardians that are present to protect the Sacred Princess. Even though he is the first guardian, he is not the leader of the guardians. He displays strong will and courage. Even though he likes to joke around, he can be very serious when neccessary. Ken can be very rude to people who treats him unfairly, or people without any manners. He is the descendant of the Nine-Tailed Fox, and possesses the power of spirit fires and psychic powers. His first encounter with So Eun wasn't a pleasant one, and he couldn't accept her as the Sacred Princess in the beginning as he finds her 'useless'. Ken, along with the other guardians, are the most popular guys in their school.

Byun Baekhyun:

- Baekhyun is the second guardian among the rest. He is among the 5 guardians who is the most craziest one out of all, the one who brought laughters to everybody around him. However, he likes to fight with Ken when there is a chance, as Ken tends to insult him (in a joking manner) everytime. He is also very insecure about his height, as he is the shortest out of all the guardians. Baekhyun is the descendant of the Griffin, and possesses the power of huge wings that allows him to fly around smoothly and huge lion claws that can destroy almost everything. He is the womanizer in the group, but he only takes interests to So Eun when he meets her.

Jeon Jungkook:

- Jungkook is the youngest guardian among the rest. He displays childish yet cute personality which allows him to attract many girls in his school. Jungkook, despite being the youngest, is actually taller than Baekhyun. His favourite dessert is chocolate bars, and he carries it everywhere he goes. Jungkook is the descendant of the Enormous Yellow Snake, and possesses the power of building barriers and shields, as well as summoning thunder.

Cha Hakyeon (N):

- N is the oldest guardian among the rest. He is also the leader of the guardians, specifically appointed by the previous leader of the guardians. He has strong responsibility and leadership. Every guardians, even though they always make fun of N, actually truly respects him and accepts him as the leader. N is the descendant of Cetus, and possesses the power of summoning Water Powers (like Tsunami) and the power to cleanse any toxic/poison in one's body.

Park Chanyeol:

- Chanyeol is the fourth guardian among the rest. He is a really good friend of Baekhyun, and the both of them likes to fight alongside together. He, like Baekhyun, is a really crazy and funny guy to be with. Unlike Baekhyun, Chanyeol is really confident about his height as he is standing at a height of 1.85m tall, the tallest guardian among the rest. Chanyeol is the descendant of Lycaon, the king of all werewolves, and possesses the power of summoning Earth Powers (like Earthquakes) and surprisingly, he is also able to summon strong Blizzards as well.

• Other Characters:

Kim Suho:

- The only guard of the shrine. He is the one who calls upon So Eun to move from the town to the village to protect the shrine as the seals that protects the shrine has weakened. He, almost like Jungkook, is able to summon temporary seals and barriers. But without the 6 other essential artifacts that only the Sacred Princess is able to get and the power of God, his power is useless to protect the shrine.

Tasty:

- 2 evil men, named Soryong and Daeryong. They are very skillful fighters and are very determined to take over the shrine, as the shrine contains the power of maintaining all of the energy in the entire world and keeping it in peace. They wished to conquer and take over the world once they takes over the shrine. As both of them are twins, they possess powers that are almost the same, which is able to confuse their opponents with their same appearances by changing the physical forms and consuming the opponent's soul to gain more power within them. The only difference is that Soryong's eyes are blue in colour, which allows him to see in the dark, and Daeryong's eyes are red in colour, which allows him to perform psychic powers to absorb souls into their bodies. If any one of them isn't present, the other one will not function properly.

Park Chorong:

- So Eun's new friend that she had made in her new school. Chorong has a really soft and smooth voice, but her scream is the scariest. She has a secret past between herself and one of the Tasty's member, Soryong. However, she kept it in silence as the past wasn't a pleasant one. She is also the only one other than the rest of the people who knows about the secrets of the Sacred Princess and the shrine.
