Hey, it's Julianna again~ So...I have a confession to make. I know I was in the middle of another story with the same name as this one, but, genius that I am, I accedentially deleted it. Yup, I am an idiot. But after I realised that I deleted the wrong story and as I started rewriting it, I decided that I should change the plot a little bit while I was at it. ^_^ So enjoy~

JONGHYUN'sPOV

     "You are the one for me~"  I crooned ily in my patented macho-man-yet-sensitive-y-beast-voice as my band mates danced and played their instruments behind me. I'm a senior at Lee Soo Man High School For The Arts, and the most popular guy there. My smoldering good great looks accounted for some of my popularity, but most of the reason why I'm was so popular was the I'm the main vocalist in SHINee, a band that my friends and moi started a few years ago. Every year since they started, SHINee won The Battle Of The Bands, which was a yearly competition for the best band in school. Judging by the amount screaming and fainting girls in the audience, SHINee would have lots of votes again this year.

      When we finished our slow ballad, thunderous applause rocked the foundations of the school auditorium. When the applause died down, a buzzing stream of whispers replaced it. I caught snatches, and they all seemed to be whispering about one thing:

"Butterfly is coming on next!"

"Wahhh, I love Butterfly!"

"SHINee was good, but I like Butterfly better!"

"The lead singer in Butterfly is H-O-T!"

    "Key," I turned to my best friend Key, who usually knew all about what was going on in the school. "Do you know who Butterfly is? Everyone is talking about them" ]

Key shrugged. "I have no idea"

Then Taemin, the main dancer in SHINee, broke in. "Butterfly is a new girl band that started this year. They're going to be in The Battle Of The Bands, too. Their main singer sits beside me in math, Ae-cha Suh."

"Huh, I wonder if they're good" said Key. He didn't have to wonder anymore, because just then, our principal, Mr. Lee came up o the mike.

    "Okay now, settle down everybody. Now, last but not least is a new band that started this year, give a big welcome to- BUTTERFLY!"

  Then the curtains rose again, to show three girls. One was holding a guitar, one was one drums and one was standing, with her back to the audience. The guitarist and drummer started playing a pop tune with a little bit of rock to it, when the one who was standing suddenly whirled around and started singing. 

I was blown away. They were good, especially the singer. She was REALLY good. Her voice was sharp and clear, and her vocal range was amazing. I heard a few wolf whistles as she kept on singing. I could see why, she was really cute, with long legs, short brown hair and dark brown eyes, Suddenly, the girl on drums stood up and started rapping. Key looked amazed at the rapper. She had short bleached hair, and was dressed kind of boyish. When Butterfly ended on one loud high note by the singer, people stood up for a standing ovation. SHINee didn't get a standing ovation, I thought.

   "Guys," I said to my fellow band mates, "It seems like we found our #1 rival"
