The corridor is quite silent. There is no other sound other than their breath. Their eyes meet for a second as the other one turn away and walk.

“I like you!”

The person stop her track and turn to the other person on that corridor.

“I like you so much Hwang Eunbi!”

“You not from here, aren’t you?” The woman called Hwang Eunbi asks the person who called out her name.

“Huh?”

“Choi Yuna. That’s you, isn’t it?”

“Ye-yes..”

A smile appears on Hwang Eunbi’s face. Eunbi turn away and continue her step.

“I said I like you!” Yuna shouts, confessing her feeling away.

Eunbi once again stops. She turns and face Yuna. Their eyes meet. Only a few meters distance separates them.

“I really like you so much Hwang Eunbi..” It’s more like a whisper but Eunbi can hear it clearly due to the quiet atmosphere.

“What do you expect from me?” Eunbi has a serious expression.

Yuna clenches her fists at the question.

“Why won’t you say anything? Answering me?”

“And what am I supposed to answer? You not asking me, isn’t it?”

Hwang Eunbi, known as a blunt person. Eunbi’s words are mere truth. Yuna flinch by her words. There’s need a question for an answer, isn’t it? Yuna tries her best to smile, hiding the nervousness.

“Will you be my girlfriend?”

Eunbi smile at the question. Yuna feel her legs starting to weaken. Hwang Eunbi just smile at her confession.

Is this look like a joke to her? Yuna thought. Yuna held her head down, waiting for rejection.

“Okay.” Just a word.

Yuna immediately look at the person in front of her. Shocked.

Hwang Eunbi has a smile on her face.

“Yes, Choi Yuna.”

And that’s words make Yuna run to the person in front of her and plop to her embrace. Tears flowing down on her face as she feel hands on her back. Hwang Eunbi is hugging her back.

“This is your house?” Yuna scanned the whole house. It quite big for a person to live there alone.

“Yes.”

“I didn’t know you live here.”

“No one know. You the first person to know and come here.”

“For real, SinB-yah?!” Yuna excitingly slump her body on Eunbi who taking a seat on the couch.

“Yes Yuju-ah.. Now get away from me. I can’t breath..” SinB tries to release herself from the clingy Yuju, but cannot hide the smile on her face.

“You want to stay tonight?” SinB asks while her eyes still on the road.

“Can I?” Yuju playing with her own fingers, nervous. She been at SinB’s house few times but never staying there for once. For the first time, she requesting to stay there for a night.

“Sure..” SinB give her simple answer but meaningful.

Yuju want to hug her but they were in the car, and she didn’t want to cause any accident.

“Where are we going?”

“Home.”

Hwang Eunbi’s simple answer make Yuna’s heart flutters.

“There’s a new towel on the bed. Go and take a shower.” Yuju nodded like an obedient child.

SinB switch on the television, making herself occupied while waiting for Yuju finished her shower.

Few minutes later, SinB heard the door opened.

“Emm.. SinB-yah.. can I borrow your shirt?” Yuju come out to the living room with a towel wrapped her body and some water was dropping from her wet hair.

SinB immediately stand up by the sight and pulled Yuju into her room, stopping in front of the closet.

“There’s new underwear on the drawer at the second bottom. You can take any shirts here.” SinB explains and walk out quickly from the room.

Yuju laughed silently at SinB’s action.

“By the way, you can use the dryer on the table to dry your hair!” Yuju hears SinB shouting outside the room.

“You can sleep at my room. I’ll just take any other room.” SinB walk out from the room, taking a blanket along with her.

“SinB-yah.. Can you sleep here?”

SinB turn and look at Yuju confusedly.

“Can you sleep here with me? It big enough for both of us anyway..” Yuju patted the empty side of the bed. SinB can sense the nervousness in Yuju’s voice.

“Sure.. But you can sleep first. I still have something to do.” SinB answered, smiling.

Yuju nodded her head, smiling.

SinB lay down on the empty side of the bed, making herself sleeping beside Yuju, on the same bed.

“You finished your works?” SinB was startled by the voice.

“You not sleeping yet?” Instead of answering, SinB asks back.

“I did..”

“Sorry for waking you..” SinB scratched her neck, feeling sorry for disturbing Yuju’s sleep.

“No.. It’s okay.” Yuju give a smile to the woman beside her.

They lay down on the side, making themselves facing each other. There’s an awkward silent between them.

SinB opens her arm wide with smile. Yuju scoots closer and make herself in SinB’s embrace. They sleep embracing each other that night. Without knowing, that first time become the beginning of their usual sleeping together, side by side at the house. They used to have each other in their arm when they sleep.

“Happy birthday, Choi Yuna.. Thank you for being born..” SinB holding a small cake, with candles on it, lighting up.

Yuju cannot contain her happiness and hug the SinB with love.

“Thank you so much, SinB-yah…” Yuju whispered on SinB’s ear.

SinB nodded her head, caressing Yuju’s hair with one of her hand. The other still occupied with the small cake.

They pulled away from the hug.

“Now, blow out the candles..” SinB bring the cake in front of Yuju.

Yuju clamps her hand together and closes her eyes before blowing out the candles.

“What did you wish?” SinB asks.

“Secret..” Yuju said playfully.

SinB just smile, knowing that Yuju will tell her eventually.

“I’m sorry that I didn’t prepare any gift for you.” SinB give an awkward smile.

“It’s okay SinB-yah.. This is enough for me..”

“But I want to give you something at least..” SinB pouted.

“You taking you time to celebrate my birthday is enough, Hwang Eunbi.. Being with you is the greatest gift..”

“Cheesy..” SinB said. Yuju just smile sheepishly.

“Now let’s clean this up. We need to sleep. There’s still class tomorrow..” SinB stands up, taking the cake to the refrigerator.

“Aishhhh… SinB-yah.. You no fun..” Yuju pouts cutely.

“By the way, is there anything you want? I might have time to buy you present tomorrow..” SinB asks as she opens the refrigerator.

The truth is there’s one thing that Yuju really want. They been a couple for more than six month now but they never kiss, not even a peck on the cheek.

“SinB-yah..”

SinB turns and meet Yuju’s eyes. She didn’t hear Yuju’s step following her to the kitchen. Yuju was leaning on the kitchen door frame.

“There’s something I want..” Yuju said, not taking any glance away from SinB.

“What it is?” SinB asks, leaning herself on the refrigerator.

“Kiss me..”
