"ugh i dont know who is she and what the hell was she doing with Taeyeon"

"she even smiled oh so pretend to be shy like eww, i dont like her"

"she is also such a busybody. you know what Tiff?? she's really really annoying and she's not pretty at all"

"and Taeyeon- why didnt she tell me that she's back? she kept saying Sica i miss you bla bla whatsoever but then she didnt come and see me when she's back and i didnt even know?"

"i hate her! i hate the girl thats with her too!"

im watching and listening to Jessica's boring show right now while resting my chin on my palm as i leaned my elbow on my desk

she just barged into my office earlier without saying hi and just suddenly talking about Taeyeon and this girl i dont know who 

"and she said she doesnt love Taeyeon, she's not sure about her feelings either. what an idiot Jung", i whispered to myself

i looked at my watch and sighed 

"10 minutes. she really have a lot of energy for talking non-stop", i shook my head

"is she moving on already?", Jessica's sudden question caught my attention

"what did you ask again Jess?"

"Taeyeon. i mean, you and Soo told me that she might find someone while in Japan and move on before right? could it be that.. its true?", Jessica asked

oh Taeyeon, you better have a good explanation for your princess

"yes we said that but we were just kidding", i said

"but, why do you care? are you going to admit and confirm your feelings now?", i asked

Jessica just looked at me with her blank face. she was about to answer me when my door flew opened

i groaned and throw my hands in the air frustratedly

"would you guys stop giving me a heart attack and dont just barge in without knocking first?!", i said

"Sica ah, can we talk?", Taeyeon asked Jessica

"oh great. now im being ignored", i said

"why are you here?", Jessica asked while crossing her arms

"i have something to say ok?"

"im sorry i dont have time and im not in a good mood"

"b-but"

"bye Tiff"

"wait! Sica listen to me first!"

did they just left me like that? really now????

Jessica POV

 

i walked faster to my car, ignoring Taeyeon behind. i dont know, im just too annoyed right now and im upset

im mad at myself too for feeling like this and i dont like it a bit

"Sica wait!"

i was about to open my car's door when Taeyeon pulled my wrist

"go away!", i pushed her

"Sica ah why are you acting like this???", she frowned

"just go away Taeyeon. i dont want to see you right now"

"what? but.. dont you miss me? i-"

"you dont even tell me that you're back", i glared

"ok im sorry about that. i was supposed to give you a surprise"

"what? a surprise of telling me you got yourself a girlfriend? is that her? the girl earlier?"

"what nonsense were you saying. she's not my girlfriend, not even close", Taeyeon replied

a sudden vibration from my phone interrupted me from saying anything so i checked it out first

i scoffed after i did checked what Krystal sent to me

"i think this explains it more", i said and pushed my phone to Taeyeon which she caught immediately then i rushed inside my car and drove off

 

The well known Kim heiress was seen having an expensive dinner at one of the top restaurant in Japan with an unknown girl. who is she? could it be that it is someone special?

 

i took a deep breathe to calm myself, she had dinner with the girl in Japan. she never told me about that. is she hiding something from me? am i not her bestfriend anymore? what am i to her actually? does she even care? 

"you said you will wait. you promised Taeyeon", i gripped the steering tightly

"im mad. maybe i wont if you just told me earlier and not letting me know from someone else. im your bestfriend Taeyeon"

"but it hurts! i dont know why it hurts so much right now"

unconsciously, i let my tears fall out of my eyes

"am i losing you now Tae? am i too late?"

Taeyeon POV

 

 

"hello"

i greeted Jessica as i entered her office. she doesnt look up and just reading the file

i went to her and caressed her hair gently

"are you still mad?", i asked

she didnt answer me

"are you going to have lunch with Fany again today?", i asked and she nodded once

i sighed softly and patted her head

"arasso. take care", i said and put a kiss on her head before i left her office

she has been ignoring me since the day i was back from Japan. 

i walked tiredly back to my office and rubbed my face

 

 

Flashback . . .

 

"i like you Taeyeon"

"Seolhyun sshi. we met just purely because of business and i didnt have any feelings towards you"

"but its not wrong to try right?"

"im sorry but i have someone in mind already"

"but you are single so i can still make you like me back"

"Seolhyun sshi. please, it wont change anything"

"and this is what i got after all the helps that i lend?"

"i didnt ask for it for god sake! you yourself came to us to offer a help"

"because i like you!"

"then it wasnt my problem! i dont like you. i've been hinting it to you that i have no interest at all"

"you're so going to regret this!"

"Kim Taeyeon sshi. i want you to take a responsibility for hurting my niece"

"pardon, what do you mean Mr Jang?"

"i wasted my time for you and sacrificed my supposed to be bonding time with my niece but you, you hurt her in return"

"i never meant to Mr Jang. i just cant possibly lied and said that i like her too when i honestly dont"

"but you can give her a chance. i never seen my niece like someone this much and you should feel thankful instead"

"im sorry Mr Jang but i cant do that. feelings cant be forced and i love someone else"

"what if i take back my words to invest?"

"Mr Jang. my mind wont change a bit. and im disappointed with your act Mr Jang. you should seperate personal and work life professionally. im done here, have a good day"

"who's that guy?"

"what guy Taeyeon"

"the guy you talked to earlier during lunch with Fany"

"oh nothing. just a stranger asking for my number"

"and you give him?"

"i dont know"

"Sica im asking you right now, answer me"

"its up to me to answer or not"

i massaged my forehead as i slumped myself on my swivel chair

"everything is just so messed up"

yes i put myself in trouble. Seolhyun have been telling Mr Jang of how i hurted her which i never intend to do and why was she so childish?

Mr Jang too, oh how this old man was not mature at all. just because i rejected his niece, he wanted to cancel his agreement to invest? well then go to hell with that investment

and Sica, my dearest Sica. im jealous when i saw a guy approaching her. Sica always have lunch with Fany at the same cafe and the guy was always there! 

i can clearly recalled back how the guy smiled at my Sica, how he flirted and trying to get her attention. i hate to look at them, i hate to know that someone else is pursuing my Sica. 

my phone then rang to cut off my thoughts

"yes?"

"i give you another 2 days to think Kim Taeyeon. just 2 days. i called to remind you that"

my blood boiled in anger after Mr Jang hung up 

"DAMN IT!!", i shouted and throwing my phone to the wall

i buried my face on my arms on my desk and cried 

"Sica.. i need you"
