Description

Namjoon was a young man with dorky glasses who worked as a band manager.

Seokjin was a young man born into wealth who was a pianist.

One day they stumbled upon each other.

They grew to understand love comes in many forms.

But the world of the '70s was not as forgiving.

Martial Law was in place, strict curfews, and censorship held them back but they what if they were willing to go against it all to seek the one thing they had left in such a cold world, love.

Foreword

“Do you want to be a professional?”
Seokjin shrugged “My parents have paid for all my schools for me to get this education”
Namjoon rolled his eyes “Sure. But is it what you want to do?” Seokjin looks at him surprised and open and closes his mouth for a bit before his bottom lip.
“What I want to do? No one has ever asked me that before…” he mumbled
It hurt Namjoon to think that such a soft looking person was bearing so many responsibilities on his shoulders. He sat down on the desk besides where Seokjin was packing his stuff. His eyes followed his movements and he opened his mouth, only hesitating for a brief second “What makes you happy?”

I have done research on the '70s in South Korea and have tried my best to represent a fair view of the time. If I have done anything wrong or misunderstood anything then please do tell! It was hard to find the needed information.

To stay true to the time I have chosen that this will only feature NamJin, as the main pair. As back then, it was very uncommon to be anything but straight and it was frowned upon so many simply refused to accept the truth.

However, you can choose to take TaeKook's relationship as you please; lovers, friends, extended family. It is up to you. I am simply a story teller.

I also want to warn you that the political views are old and words might be used but these were very frequent of the time. I have tried to stay true to the time. But I wanted to warn you in case you are sensitive to rude words.

I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did while writing it.

It's so beautiful, and passionate, and well written.
