CHAPTER 2 "Sehun, I'm leaving!" Jisoo waved. Sehun gave her smile and waved back. Jisoo was heading to her part time job. She got it not long ago. It pays $30 for 2 hours. She drove to the Café while listening to Eric - Let's not be friends anymore (Chinese song). After getting to her destination, she parked the car and entered the Café. Jisoo went inside the 'workers only' room and grabbed her apron, putting it on. She then exited the room and went to her assigned task for the day. To prepare people's orders. "Good morning, Jisoo!" Wendy smiles. Jisoo greeted her, also giving her a smile. Jisoo's phone buzzed. She quickly apologized to Wendy before picking up the phone. "Hello?" "Hey, It's me." "Jimin! Helloo~" She smiled. "I called to ask about the discount coupons you gave me for the café you work at." He explained. Not long ago, she had given Jimin a bunch of discount coupons so they wouldn't go to waste. "Ah~ I think they expire today.." She said. "Oh, really? I guess I should go there now." He chuckled. "Okay! Well, see you soon. I have to start my shift." She laughed. They bid their goodbyes and ended the call. Jisoo turned to Wendy "Sorry about that. Let's start our work." Wendy gave her a smile. The two girls began working. Wendy took orders while Jisoo prepared them. Today wasn't so busy. There were usually many costumers here to order. But not today.. Since Jisoo and Lay weren't in good terms right now, she never got the chance to tell him about her job. She planned on doing it during graduation but he had other plans. *2 hours later* Jisoo's shift was almost over. Wendy walked up to her "Could you please go make some coffee before you leave? We ran out." Jisoo nods and walks over to the coffee machine. "Irene, go find a table for us. I'll go order" She heard familiar voice say. She looks up and spots Lay with Irene. Why were they together? She noticed that Irene was already staring at her. Irene gave Jisoo a small smirk. She then brought her attention back to Lay. She grabbed his collar and pulled him towards her, making their lips contact. Jisoo watched the scene in front of her. She was waiting for Lay to pull away. But no. He stood still. He's probably enjoying this, huh? She looked away as tears began to form in her eyes. This bastard. Jisoo felt a sting on her hand. She was too busy with her thoughts that she wasn't concentrated on the stinging. That son of a b- She heard a loud gasp "Jisoo! Are you okay?". She snapped out of her trance and wiped her tears. She then looked down at her right hand to see where the stinging came from. She had accidentally spilled the hot coffee on herself. Lay, who was frozen, finally snapped back to reality and pulled away. He turned around to see a puffy eyed Jisoo staring at him, with tears in her eyes. Jisoo's eyes moved from Lay to the person outside the cafe. Jimin. He stood outside staring at Irene. He looked betrayed, angry, sad. It wasn't hard to tell. That's how she was also feeling right now. Jimin noticed Jisoo looking at him "Are you okay?" He mouthed. She shook her head. No. She wasn't okay. Jimin pulled out his phone and pointed to it. He quickly typed something and seconds later, Jisoo's vibrated. Jimin: Get out of there. Your shifts over. Let's talk. Jisoo: Meet me by the back door "Jisoo.." Lay said, getting her attention. She quickly bowed at Wendy and ran to the employee room. She took up her apron and left through the back door. "Jisoo!" Jimin called out. She turned to face him. The two of them had tears on their eyes. Jimin walked up to her and wiped her tears away. "Don't cry. It doesn't suit you." He frowned. "I should be the one to say that." She sniffed and gently wiped his tears away. She noticed that Jimin's eyes were fixed on her hand. He gently grabbed it. "What happened? Are you okay? Does it hurt?" Jisoo pulled her hand away and hid it behind her back. "I'm okay. I accidentally spilled some coffee on my hand." She looked away. Jimin sighed "Come. Let's get that treated." He took hold of her non-injured hand dragged her to a nearby pharmacy. He bought a disinfectant spray, healing cream, cotton balls, and a wrapping bandage. After paying, the two sat on a bench outside. Jimin took out his earphones and pulled them in his phone. "Its gonna sting. Listen to some music and distract yourself." He smiled. Jimin went to his hip-hop playlist and pressed shuffle. He wouldn't want a sad song to come up and ruin her mood. She looks a bit more calm now. Jisoo gave him a smile and put the earphones on. She nodded her head to the song. Agust D - Give It To Me was currently playing. He took out the items out of the shopping bag. He first sprayed her hand with the disinfecting spray. She flinched a bit but then calmed down as Jimin softly blew on her hand. He then took a cotton ball and the cream. He gently dabbed it onto the wound. The wound was pretty bad. Her skin was red, and peeling off. Its a good thing he noticed the wound. After that, Jimin took out the bandage and rapped it around her hand, up to her wrist. He then put the items back inside the back. Jimin took the earphones off Jisoo's ears. "We're all done." He smiled. Jisoo's stomach growled in response, earning a chuckle from Jimin. "Let's get you something to eat." He stood up. Jisoo and Jimin walked to McDonalds. "Hi, welcome to McDonald's. May I take your order?" A lady smiled. "Hi! Can I have um.. 20 chicken nuggets, 1 McChicken, Happy meal, and a strawberry ice cream?" Jisoo grinned. The lady chuckled and typed her order. Jimin also ordered. He then paid for the both of them. "You didn't have to. I have my own money." Jisoo frowned. "I wanted to." He poked her nose. The two of them took a seat and began eating. "You wanna talk about what happened?" Jisoo asked. Jimin shook his head. "You know.. Its okay to cry in front of me. I don't judge. Talking it out is better than keeping it in." She explained. He looked up at her. She and Jimin didn't hang out much but she felt that was going to change. "I..I don't understand why he kissed her. H-he has you. How could he do this to you?" His eyes became watery. Jisoo knew he had a lot of questions. She knew he felt broken. She remembered how happy he was when Irene came back. "Jimin.. Lay didn't kiss her.. It was the other way around. I waited.. Waited for him to move. He didn't. He only did after hearing my name being called.." Jisoo sobbed. "S-she kissed him?" His voice cracked. Jisoo slowly nodded. "Why..? I've been waiting so long to see her. A-and all I get.. Is this?" He asked himself. Jisoo offered him some chicken nuggets. "You know what?" She sniffed. "Hmm?" He asked while chewing on a chicken nugget. "Instead of crying our asses off, let's go somewhere to take our minds off this." She said. "Somewhere? Can I recommend a place?" He asked, earning a nod. *2 Hours Later* "Chimchim~" Jisoo giggled. "Chichyu~" He called out. The two of them burst into laughter. "M-mochi" She managed to say. Jimin stopped laughing and looked at her "Mochi?". She nods "You're a mochi." Jimin then began mouthing the word 'mochi' over and over again. Jisoo grabbed her empty cup and frowned "You! Give me another shot! A strong one!" The man refilled her glass. Instead of alcohol, he filled it with water. He spotted her phone on the table and grabbed it, dialing her #1. "Hello?" "I'm calling from J-Horse Bar. Your friend drank too much. It'd be best to pick her up." He explained. The person on the other line hung up. "Teens" He muttered, shaking his head. He then called a cab for Jimin. The cab arrived a few minutes later. He helped Jimin onto the cab. "Please get him home safely." He closed the door and walked back to the bar. He looked around noticing that the girl was gone. "Her friend must've picked her up" He shrugged and went back
