I knock on his door. Breathing hard and impatiently waiting. The moment he opened the door is the moment where I wanted to die.

"Hey Baby. I've miss you." He comes closer to kiss me and I hesitate. I know he felt it. His face was twisted.

"What's wrong?" He asked me. He moves over to let me in. Closing the door behind me I wait for the storm to come over me.

"Look Kris I uhh."

"Please tell me what's wrong." His eyes. Oh his eyes showed his care. Something I could not give him.

"This, us I can't do it anymore."

 

5 Months earlier

"Only 47% of people will have children by the time their 25." highlighting the facts in the Marriage and Family textbook, Brianna comes join me at one of our university cafe.

"Hey Alissa you see that guy over there?" Brianna asks me.

Being a Seoul sky Uni student in Florida is already hard enough, So having my Godsister annoy me is not going to help. I turn where Brianna is pointing to see her On/Off boyfriend Jordan.

"Brianna, you know we have a quiz next week. Stop staring at your bae."

"No ugly, I talking about the fine Asian that's friends with Jordan. I know your likes some Asian men." She laughs knowing damn well I'm to shy to talk to guys.

I do a double take to see it's the famous Kris Wu. He's the talk of the school. His mother married Mark Zheng of Zheng Medical Center and Hospitals. Just like his father, he is studing to be a paediatric and Anaesthetic. I quickly turn back when I catch Kris eyes on mine. Since he hangs with Jordan the biggest womenizer I've heard to many stories.

"Bri, Everyone knows who he is. Why are you asking? " I say trying to play it off like I didn't care.

"Well I heard that he's been asking about you." The whole time I'm trying to focus on this textbook and she won't shut up.

"Me? Are you sure?" Ignoring what I just said she gets up. Watching her, she's going into the direction of Jordan and Kris.

OMG. I start freaking out. Going into our first semester of sophomore year, she has tried to set me up with 11 guys and Mr Kris Wu is going to be number 12. I quickly gather my things in my bag and put it on my shoulder.

Getting out of my seat Brianna appears in front of me with the guys behind her. Seeing Bri's sad face almost made me feel bad for leaving.

"Where are you going?" She asked me

"I have work remember."

"OH right, but before you go, meet Yifan wu. He's a senior and on the basketball team with Jordan."

looking up at him he's around 6'2 to my 5'10. Reaching out my hand he takes it.

"I'm well aware of who he is. I'm Alissa by the way, Briannas sister." I say back

"Adopted poor sister." Jordan added in. Brianna turned and slapped him on his shoulder making him laugh. Kris ignores him still holding on to my hand.

"Nice to meet you too." It feels like his chocolate brown eyes are burning a hole into me.

"Yup, Well this was fun but I have to go. Maybe I'll see you around."

I tried to pull away my hand away but he held on to it abit longer.

"Uh Can I have my hand back?" I ask awkwardly.

Smiling he finally lets me go "Oh haha sorry."

I look to Bri to see her smirking and Jordan looks annoyed.

"Bye!" I wave at them.

I quickly stroll from the cafe to Ely hall to Mrs. Swarts office. My major is teaching English and Writing from Prek to 5th grade.

"Alissa! You've come at the perfect time. I have a new student for you."

She hands me the papers. Going through them it's a 10 year old girl named Sophie. She is from Beijing china and is at a 1st grade english reading and writing level. She speaks Chinese Mandarin but also fluent in English and Japanese.

Being fluent in 6 languages made me one of the top tutors in the teaching program.

"OK perfect. Wait, It says I start today at 3 P.M? Why didn't I know until now?" I ask.

"Sorry about that. They had just called me this morning. I was so busy I forgot to send you an email but you still have 2 hours. Hurry hurry."

Pushing me out the door I rush to get to the school's book store. Searching for the teacher's copies of her books took forever and the line made it even worst.

Finally getting to my 2016 Dodge Dart, I pull out my S note 5 to see It's 2:13. I hate being late. I put the address into the GPS on my dash board.

Arriving 5 minutes before 3 I pull up to the house gate and push the botton to hear a chime.

"Yes?" the voice over the intercom send.

"Yes Hi My name's Alissa James. I'm a tutor from Seoul Sky university."

"Come on in."

The intercom turned off and the gates opened. pulling my car in I go around the water fall and park at the door of the house.

Getting out of the car I grab my bag and walk up the stairs to be greeted by their butler.

"Ms. Brown I will accompany you to Ms. Sophie Zheng."

"Thank you."

Once I come in the door it feels like a museum. They have so many artifices. Going down this long hallway, he stops at a room that looks like an office but it's purple and with gittler everywhere.

"This is Sophie's study room. She'll be down in a moment."

"Thank you."

Settling down I pull out my notebook and textbooks. Feeling my phone buzz I see Brianna has txted me.

B:Party tonight.

A:Have fun.

B:wym have fun? Your coming with me.

Before I could reply a cute little girl walks in. Standing up I go to greet her.

Mandarin

"Hi Sophie, I'm Alissa your English tutor."

"Hello, I'm Sophie. By the way your pretty."

"Thank you. So are you ready to start?"

"No not really." She gave me this sad face.

"How about every time you get a right answer I give you candy or a sticker." Her face lit up. She quickly sat down.

First thing I do is go over the basics like ABC's and she nailed that. Then I went on to spelling and pronouncing 2 letter words.

She knew how to spell them but didn't know the correct way of using them in a sentence. By the end of her hour secession she earned 2 jolly ranchers and 4 stickers.

"OK Sophie I want you to work on your sentences and ill see you again Thursday at 3."

"Great. Also Alissa do you have a boyfriend?" This is not the first time kids have been curious about my personal life.

"No I don't."

"Great because my Ge Ge is single and-"

"Sophie!" A males voice calls her and she runs out of the room. I pack up my things and follow her out. Going down the long hallway that lends back to the front, I see sophie in the arms of a tall male.

She's laughing and giggling till she spots me. The guy holding her turns around to me and reveals that it's Kris.

Of course sophie is his sister. Why didn't I think. Her last name is Zheng. Great.

Walking over to me, he smiles and puts Sophie down in between us.

"Alissa this is my Ge Ge." He just smirks.

"Yes we go to school together." I say

"So your Sophie's new Tutor, You were highly recommend to my parents."

"Oh thank you."

"You should date Ge Ge and be my bó mǔ." She wants me to be her sister?

I looked down into her little pure brown eyes. She was serious.

"Well This was fun but I'm really busy so bye!"

I quickly leave and get into my car. Rubbing my cheeks and feel my burning face.

Getting back to my apartment I opened the door to hella shopping bags on the floor of the livingroom.

"Brianna!!"

Stepping over them, I walk in to see Bri in the kitchen cooking and dancing to BTS Cypher 4

"What?" She yelled over the music.

"Get your culinary over here and get these bags up."

"Sorry liss but I had to go shopping for tonight's frat party."

"What does that have to do with them not making it to your room?"

"Uh, Jordan txted me then I forgot about them, then I got inspiration to cook."

I so love my cooking, shopaholic, outgoing God sister.

"Brianna Harp James."

"Okay, okay. Come watch this for a sec so it doesn't burn."

Setting my bag down in the chair and jacket in the closet. I go watch over the pasta she's making.

2 minutes later she comes up right beside me and freaks.

"Liss why didn't your stir it?"

"You said to watch it, How was I suppose to know?"

"UH move." She bumps me out of the way, taking the spoon from my hand.

I stick my tongue out at her.Going into the livingroom, I grab the remote and turn on Dramafever on the 60 inch smart tv.

Rewatching My Love from Another Star, I'm on episode 15.

Sitting down next to me she hands me a plate of pasta.

"Thanks."

"Can you turn on the subtitles, Korean was one language I could not pass growing up."

"Haha, I learned Korean better and you learn Italian better." Going to settings, I turn on the english subtitles.

"True true. Our fine Italian teacher was very motivating." She recalls

"You only got better because you wanted more attention."

"I got it didn't I?" laughing I poke her.

"Whatever. Vanessa was still better then you." Brianna rolled her eyes at that.

"Our highschool is still a ."

"Your just mad cause Jordan lost his V card to her."

"Speaking of Jordan I asked him who he is bringing to the Frat party and Kris is coming."

"I'm glad you told me that cause now, I'm really not going."

"You have to! You can't leave me, It's in the best friend rule book."

"Rule book!? We've known each other our whole lives and you've never said that before."

"Well it's real and your going."

"Fine ugly. I just wanna choke you sometimes."

"Love you too!" She said bear hugging me.
