The King's Guard

Description

The year is 1720. King Yoongi ascends the throne. Park Jimin is recalled from Busan.

 

In the palace there is the King, the Western ministers, the Southern ministers, The Queen Dowager, The Queen and Prince Jin. The only one the King can really, truly trust, is his bodyguard Jimin. Or can he?

 

“My King, I offer my services and my life to your wellbeing.”
“Good,” the King answers softly, voice heavy and dream-like. “I will need you, in the end.”

Foreword

Please remember that this fanfiction means destroying a bit of Korea's true history. It's a beautiful and interesting history I enjoyed researching a lot, so please try to give it the appreciation it deserves. This fanfic will of course deviate from the reality of Korea's history, so please bear with me if I make any mistakes.
