Mark woke up from the smell of freshly baked pies and the sound of chatter that been going on for awhile now. He opens his eyes and smile knowing what's waiting for him outside of his room.

In the kitchen, Wendy helped Mrs. Tuan preparing the brunch, discussing new recipes and other stuffs, while Mr. Tuan in the dining room with his phone as he monitored the news.

Wendy startled when she felt a poke on her shoulder to find a pillow-face Mark smiling at her, "there you are sleepyhead" is her response to his fluffiness. 

"Food's ready! everyone gather at the table" 

Mrs. Tuan's Cheese Quiche and Wendy's apple pie for today's menu. Wendy's eager for Mark to taste her newfound recipe, and as always, he enjoys every bit of it making her proud of herself. Her cute reaction makes him want to squish her tiny figure in his arm, if it's not for his parents, he would do it in a heartbeat.

People always ask, "how can you still this skinny when your girlfriend and your mom are the best cooks around here" Mark doesn't know either, all he knows that he's thankful for every Sunday he could cover for her loneliness when she's hundred miles away from her family.
