The next day, Min woke up early not very happy cause it was the very exact day her mother died 3 years ago, her mother got diagnosed with cancer, seeing her cheerful mother getting weaker and weaker everyday was very hard, she hopped a miracle would happen and her mother would over-come the disease, but nothing happened, and later her mom left her and died, and the only one who made her smile again after her mother unfortunate death was Junhyung

Min sniffed and put a bouquet of her mom's favorite flower beside her smiling picture

"Hello umma" she greeted bowing "how have you been?? I'm sorry that I didn’t visit a lot lately"

"Umma… your daughter is in love right now… it's my first time, it's a good thing right?? " she bit her lip trying hard to not cry

"But what should I do umma?? I'm not happy, I can't stop thinking about him, and it hurts me when I'm not with him, I feel so empty, I really love him, and I want to be with him all the time,  but I'm not sure whether he's in love with me too" her bottom lip trembled as tears spilled from her eyes

"I feel so desperate, is it a bad thing that I fell for him this much?!! Why can't he understand that I can't take it if a day past without seeing him, or hearing his voice" Min sobbed loudly

 At night, Kikwang was in Fei's car, they were heading to the ball he looked up from the window at the sky filled with dark clouds "looks like it's going to rain" his thoughts went to Min *I wonder where she wanted to go with me… I should've let her continue, how stupid of me…*

"Kikwang" Fei called for the third time

"What??" he finally snapped out of his thoughts

"We arrived" "she told him

"Really?" he looked out to see that they really did arrive

"What were you thinking of?" she asked smiling, and raising her eyebrows

"No, it nothing" he unbuckled his seat belt, and they both entered the party

It was in a huge, glamorous hall

Fei and Kikwang entered with her arm around his "are you nervous?" he asked her

"No, what about you?" she asked

He nodded "yes, it's my first time attending this kind of party"

"It's going to be ok, just a few hours, then we'll head back" she assured him

Everyone who passed by them bowed 90 degree

Fei greeted her father, he looked at Kikwang "who's this?"

He stepped in and bowed respectfully "aniyasayeo, Lee KiKwang-mida"

"He's my friend, and this is my father" she introduced them to each other

"Hmm…" Fei's father observed him closely "what does your parents do?"

"Abeoji!" Fei snapped at her dad

"What?? I'm just asking" he looked back at Kikwang waiting for an answer

Kikwang nervously smiled "...They…. both died when I was young, sir"

Fei's eyes widened *I didn’t know that it* she felt sad for him *it must been hard on him* "let's go, Kikwang" she pulled him to the refreshments table before his father asks him anymore questions

Fei glanced at him, she could see his sad eyes "are you ok?" she squeezed his shoulder "sorry about my father"

he shook his head smiling "it's ok"

Just then two figures entered the hall, Fei flinched seeing them

It was Sunggyu and his girlfriend Ha Sun, a few people approached them, and they talked for a while

Kikwang followed Fei vision, and saw him *who is that guy?? And why is she looking at him like that?!*

Sunggyu smiled to them when he was talking, Fei kept gazing at him *the smile that never once failed to make my heart beat fast* she thought

Sunggyu looked her way, and met with her eyes, Fei quickly looked away, and then she slowly looked back at him

He smiled and waved

*he was the one who broke my heart, and he's greeting me like he done nothing at all!!* Fei thought angrily

"You know him?" Kikwang asked her

She shook her head "no"
