parallel universe where a distinct race of humans known as alices evolve at a slow, yet alarming rate, the supernatural abilities they possess generating a massive ripple of fear throughout the world, mainly due to its indecipherable pattern of host selection ( abilities are neither genetic nor viral ) and the potential danger their existence implies for rest of the normal human population. in this universe, each country devises a way of dealing with this problem in accordance to their values and respective constitutions; choices ranging from extreme humanitarianism to aggressive eradication of these beings. luckily, south korea falls on the more humanitarian spectrum, instituting an academic system in place that involves training young superhumans until they gain mastery over their abilities, and in turn, aid their respective communities with their talents, and the nation as a whole.

or at least, so it seems at first.

for this special task, three schools located at different parts of seoul are given the assignment of training these alices.  kalopsia; a mixed government-owned school. not much is said about them, except that they reek of mediocrity and power abuse in equal measures. kronos academy of gifted lads; an all boys school that lives behind the motto: “excellence and brawn” although some would argue that their dubious teaching methods defies this virtuous pledge. and lastly, seraphina academie, where our story is mostly based at; an all-girls international school, that is as posh and pretentious as its name implies.

among the students  signed up for this school year, are five different girls, from relatively different backgrounds that somehow manage to be shoved into one dorm together despite all the odds.

bae joohyun knows too much for the expanse of innocent caramel that cloaks her eyes. kang seulgi, her former best friend and confidante is an imposing femme fatale, capable of crushing your self worth with a single cat-eyed gaze, but behind her bone-chilling bravado is a child picking at the scabs of a broken self.  son wendy is a little girl with a big voice and even bigger dreams who is too fiery for her own good, literally. flower child park sooyoung is a walking mystery, and kim yerim thrives on mischief and eradicating social standards.
