Luhan was completely shocked, surprised and dumbfounded. Not sure if it was just a dream or was it really Jinah inside his apartment. And he got more surprised as the girl ran closer to him and reached out her palm on his forehead.

Expected the warm skin, it was a normal temperature and a little bit wet forehead that welcomed her hand.

“You’re not sick?” she asked, palm was still on his forehead tried to find the high temperature that Junmyeon said.

“No” Luhan shook his head blankly.

“Oh my goodness” Jinah was shocked that she retreated a few steps. “Junmyeon said you got a fever, a-and it’s l-like 45 degrees” Jinah stuttered and frowned at the oh-so-fresh Luhan who laughed in front of her.

“You silly, I would’ve been dead right now.”

Jinah realized. Junmyeon fooled her. But no, Junmyeon is a good guy, how come?

“You’re not eating shrimp and got allergies?” she asked once again, tried to prove Junmyeon’s story but only to found Luhan laughed even harder than before.

“You do know I have no allergies on seafood”

He was right, Jinah knows him so well. Luhan did not have any allergies on seafood, he loves it so much that he cooked them for their second year anniversary dinner.

Realized that Jinah suddenly frozen, Luhan stopped his laugh and remembered about a text Junmyeon sent to him like an hour ago.

“Junmyeon fooled you.” He said and that time he bravely reached out his hand to caress Jinah’s head because the girl was looking so messed up and tired. “Come here”

Luhan brought her to his couch and offered her a glass of water.

“You must’ve been exhausted.” Luhan said softly. “Don’t worry, I’ve scolded Junmyeon”

Jinah was pretty angry at Junmyeon for made her did something stupid like that. But then she realized that it wasn’t Junmyeon’s fault, yes he lied to her but she was the one who decided to ran all the way from the airport and realized that just made her felt more stupid and extremely embarrassed for ran to her ex’s house.

She gulped down the water and then silence covered them for some moments.

“I’m sorry”

“I’m sorry” both of them said at the same time.

“You go first” Jinah said because she knew that Luhan would let her speak first but she was just too curious what would Luhan say sorry for.

She heard him took a deep breath like getting ready to say something big “I’m sorry for being an idiot back then”

Jinah was a little bit regretted for letting him to speak first, because he started to brought that very sensitive topic which made her felt more awkward.

“I was so hurt by the fact that you asked to break up just because you need some time alone. You could’ve just asked that, you know I’m always understand.” There was a huge disappointed on his tone.

“But it hurts more when you left me” he stopped for a moment, sighed and his eyes darted on anything else but her. “the fact that you probably never gonna come back suffocates me.” He said as a tear rolled down on Jinah’s cheek. Her heart broke into pieces while heard his confession.

“I’ve tried so hard, really hard to forget you,” Luhan paused only to let out a dry laugh. “ but I guess it didn’t work. The first time I saw you at the meeting room, my heart beats like crazy.” He took a look at Jinah who looked down with both of her hand tightly held the glass on her lap and he smiled.

“I got nervous like the first time I fell in love with you, Jinah.”
Heard her name came out like that made Jinah’s heartbeat went even crazier, and it almost jumped out of her chest when Luhan’s hand reached out to pull the glass out of her grasp and put it to the table. Luhan softly rubbed her hand and slowly pulled her face to look at him.

He just couldn’t help but let his hand raised up to her cheek, caressed it lovingly while another hand made its way to her nape, slowly pulled her in until their lips perfectly locked on each other.

He kissed her softly, sweetly but deeply, he poured all his love and longing on it as he wanted her to fell that. He wasn’t rushing or did anything rough, he did his best to kiss her slowly and let her fell his love.

Luhan pulled out sooner than he wanted only to realize that Jinah had been crying all the time when he kissed her, he felt her heart broke looked at her cried like that.

“Shh, don’t cry baby” Luhan pulled her into his hug as he soothed her and caressed her hair.

Jinah just couldn’t help but cry, she heard all his confession about how he broken he was yet he still love her all those times which only made her felt worse.

“I’m sorry” she mumbled into his shoulder but he could still hear it.

“It’s okay now” Luhan rested his head on hers as his hand rubbed her back.

“I’m a bad girlfriend, I-I’m such a bad g-girlfriend.” Jinah started to stutter. “I-I wanted to-to call you b-but …” she just couldn’t continue her words because of the suffocated feeling.

“Shh, calm yourself first. Here” Luhan let her drink while kept on rubbing her back in soothing manner.

It took about three minutes for her to completely stop crying and breathe properly.

“I wanted to call you the night before our graduation, but I heard that you, you went out with your friend. So I thought that you’ve forgotten me and already moved on.”

Luhan just smiled at her confession. “I think I’ll never forget you, it’s been three years yet I’m still so in love with you. And you still love me, don’t you?” he playfully asked, but somehow there was a little tiny doubt that Jinah didn’t love him like how she used to and that doubt just grew bigger and bigger as Jinah just looked away without saying any words.

“Jinah? Baby? Yo-you still love me, right?” He asked again, this time with a lot of doubt.

He was like going to die when she sighed. “Jinah, please?”

Jinah smiled mischievously “of course you idiot!”

Luhan quickly tangled her in a tight hug “oh my god, Jinah! You almost kill me!”

Both of them enjoyed the moments in each other embrace, let the silence covered them up.

“So we’re good now?” Luhan asked, broke out the silence.

And Jinah just nodded, buried herself deeper to his warm embrace.
