Sometimes, if you wished really hard, it would snow in Seoul on New Year's.

The cold would be bitter, and you might shiver non stop.

But the snow would be worth it, because it's one of the most beautiful things you will ever see.

It glitters and shines, gracing the night with flakes of ice.

It would settle, covering the ground in a blanket of white.

Then, eventually, it will all melt away.

As fast as it came.

New Year's had always been special to me because I always hoped for snow. 

I wished with all of my might.

However on that night, on that particular New Year's Eve, snow was the last thing on my mind.

I was a mess of tears and sadness.

But, through those tears, I learned something.

From the most unlikely person.
