Today is her surgery, after what happened chaeyoung told me that mina dislikes me so much now and that momo cried so hard after I left and didn’t say anything, I met the dr. secretly and the surgery will take few hours , but I can’t stay at the hospital I can’t face mina or momo.. I am still searching for my brother and we can’t find him anywhere … I am so ashamed of him and of what I’ve raised… I took a break from work for few days and I wore black pants and jacket with a cap

I was standing outside and chaeyoung would send me messages about momo’s condition .. it’s 11 AM now and momo is in the surgery room … I wish I could hold her hand and stay by her side in this hard time …

I was walking back and forth praying to god that momo will see again and begin a new life full of happiness

Few hours passed and jeongyeon is still waiting outside walking back and forth while momo just came out of the surgery room … her eyes were covered with bandage , they will remove them tomorrow but jeongyeon refused to leave even though chaeyoung tried to convince him but he can’t stop thinking about momo and how the surgery went . However the dr. said that momo has a chance of 80% to see again because the surgery was easy and everything went well

Morning

“momo are you ready?” the dr. said as he stood next to her … mina was holding her hand tightly and chaeyoung is watching them while praying

Momo nodded and yelped … will she be able to see?

He removed the bandage pads and momo was still closing her eyes

“momo open your eyes slowly” he said and she opened them slowly , looking forward without blinking

“momo now look at my finger” he said and raised his finger moving it left and right in front of her face and indeed she followed it … a sign that finally she can see

He checked on her eyes and smiled at her

“momo..” mina said in a low voice and momo looked at her , tears fell over her face when she saw her sister after 5 years she kneeled on the bed as she pulled her for a hug and she caressed her head , chaeyoung was watching them and cried a bit from this touching moment , the dr. bowed and left along with the nurses

Jeongyeon was standing outside , her saw the dr. and ran to him

“congratulations jeongyeon-ah , now your fiancé can see” the dr. said

“you are joking right?” jeongyeon said as tears formed in his eyes

The dr. nodded and patted his shoulder … jeongyeon sat on a chair and looked at the ground , tears of joy mixed with sadness fell over his cheeks …. Now momo can see but he can’t stay with her … he decided to leave Seoul after few days and settle down in Incheon as he demanded a transferation into another police station and got accepted already because if his important post.

Hours passed and momo was eating and chatting with mina and chaeyoung she didn’t ask about jeongyeon at all while he was standing outside her room near the nurses room and they were gossiping and giggling over him …

He saw mina and chaeyoung leaving the room and hid his face , but he almost jumped when he saw momo he took a file a nurse was reading and start reading it

“um sir” she said to him wondering what’s wrong with her

They passed behind him and no one saw him … he sighed in relief and gave her back her file

He hung his head down “that was close , I need to leave here” he said in a low voi
