We were still kids when our father left us for his other woman it started when he always go to our house late eventhough he doesn't have any extra works I still remembered the day we discovered our father's secret

It was already 10 in the evening and our father still hasn't arrived we are so worried because he doesn't reply to our messages to him so we couldn't sleep,then after a while we heard heavy footsteps coming towards our door and knocked loudly when we opened the door,it revealed our father he is drunk again

"Hon what happened to you?,you're drunk again"our mother asked calmly"have you eaten already?,what do you want to eat?"our mother asked again worriedly that instead of being mad at him she still managed to worry for him but our father didn't say a word,I stared at my mother's face and I could see that she is worried,so worried about our father I help my mother carry our father from the room to the living room,It's just a second after dad has sitten on the sofa as words came out of his mouth,words that hurted my mother's feelings

"minyoung I don't want this marriage anymore"my mother stopped on her tracks she slowly looked back on him while I looked at my mother's expression"hon what are you saying?,maybe you're just tired"she responded and faked a smile to us

"Minyoung please stop it I'm not happy in your side and in this marriage anymore"he hissed to my mom again and from that point his voice became louder than before'chang wook ah,take hansol to your room and stay there I and your dad has to talk about something"she commanded to me I bowed to her before walking away with Hansol but I know the pain that my mom is feeling at this moment once we entered my room I didn't close the door so I could hear them while Hansol came to the Tv and turned it on while i laid on my bed

"What are you saying hon?,you're just drunk so If I am you I'll just sleep it off"I heard my mom say"no minyoung I don't want this marriage anymore,I don't love you anymore"dad said to mom

"It's not that easy hyunwoo how about our children?,how will I make them live?,I need you hyunwoo so please just for their sake please don't"mom begged at him,eventhough I was already lying on my bed I could feel the pain of her heart from her voice

"I'll give you everything that I have saved in the bank,it was supposed to be the money that I'll use to buy the car that I want,but not anymore the only thing that I want is for you to set me free"I know that my mother knows about everything that our father is doing to her but since she loves him so much,she chose to be mum and blind in our father's affair I didn't here any words from my mom anymore but before I could even close my eyes,my mother's sobs woke me up  while I'm hearing the steps of my father walking away

Tomorrow came and I expected my mother's face to be sad but instead it was calm that surprised me"good morning chang wook come and join us eat breakfast"she said to me while smiling me and hansol were still in our elementary level at that time but we are not idiots to not understand everything that happened last night

"mom what happened between you and mom?"hansol asked to her i noticed the tears at the side of my mother's eyes but she masked it off with a smile"there are just things that you won't be able to understand for now but someday,when you are the ones that are already loving another person other than me you'll understand your dad"she answered seriously,I don't know why our dad is whom we are supposed to understand.I didn't even get the intention that she said to us,she drank water before speaking again

"sons,from now on,only the three of us will only be with each other but it's just temporary and even if things make us sad,if you miss your dad just think that he had gone to another country I hope you won't be angry to him,I hope we become happy,okay now the two of you eat your food already I'll drop you at your school before you become late"I know that our mother already wants us to stop on asking so she just changed the topic even if she showed her happy side to us,I know the pain that she is hiding

I adore my mom so much because she is a loving woman and will do everything that could make her family happy,every day I see how our mother work to make our little bakery sucessful but every day I always caught her crying holding our father's picture up until now it is still a big question for me on where our mother was lacking and what or who is the reason for our used to be happy family to be broken I feel pity for my mom so eversince that day I promised to myself that I'll take care of her and make her happy
