Chapter 1: ouch. been reading rest of your seulrene fics after coming across"When Yes Means Forever" and this one hurts the most. love my dose of angst but when it comes to unrequited love...yeah i feel it. love your writing and how you keep things simple but engaging. keep it up
Chapter 1: Damnnnnn ... I was hoping they'd get together in the end, somehow. I guess that would have proven too unrealistic. But then again, Joohyun being gay is pretty unrealistic, too (although I will always dream otherwise) so then why couldn't you have gone further and allowed them to get together???? *whines* lol
Chapter 1: Ah yes the situation where you realize you have feelings for your best friend. A situation that can potentially lead you to love but can also be extremely painful and lead you to losing your best friend in the process. While I'm glad Seulgi didn't react negatively to Irene coming out, it's saddening to see the situation Irene is in. Hopefully one day she'll either get the courage to say something or find a way to move on with her life. My seulrene heart wishes that they would be together, but it seems like that won't happen in this specific story.
I really like how you captured Irene's coming out process. Sometimes people think the reaction they get will be all dramatic (and sometimes it is depending on the circumstances) but there are times when people aren't bothered by it at all. Seulgi didn't freak out. In fact, she knew before Irene said anything. I think in the process of trying to hide her true self, Irene ended up being super obvious instead. xD
Anyways I enjoyed your story. Thank you for sharing. I look forward to reading more of your work. :)
