~Just One Christmas~

Just One Christmas...

“That’s it folks, Christmas break here we come!”

“I can’t wait! I get to go back to Gyeongju and spend Christmas with my family! I haven’t seen them since I started working here, which was two years ago!”

“Aw that’s amazing!”

“Haha, ‘tis the season to be jolly...”

“FA LA LA LA LA, LA LA LA LA!”

I looked around at everyone walking out; they all had red Santa Claus hats on and hideous Christmas coloured outfits, arms around each other,  ready to head over to the local bar and let loose.

Scrutinising my surroundings, I sighed.

As usual, everyone left me behind to pack up all the camera editing equipment and clean their mess.

Let me introduce myself- my name is Hana and I’m a professional photography student doing an apprenticeship abroad for two years in South Korea.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining.

Out of two hundred candidates who were dying to get their arses to Korea and work at Big Hit Entertainment building, I was the chosen one.

Everyone and their mothers are crazy over BTS and even my friends were envious when they found out, although loads of idols regularly visit our photography college in the States.

I’m only 19 years old, but when I set my mind to do something, I’ll rather die than lose out on it.

So here I am, nearly completing my first year of the apprenticeship in Gangnam, Seoul and yes as you may have guessed, I get treated like .

I have so many friends back in New York, but for some reason no one here was warming up to me.

It doesn’t help that no one on my team is my age. I work with two older men and one woman in their twenties who only boss me around to get their teas and coffees, rather than helping me improve my camera skills.

I gazed out of the window at the side alleyway, where dustbins and bicycles were parked.

It was only 6pm yet the sky was dark and beautiful, white flakes of soft snow drizzling down on the pavement, adding to the thick blanket of snow from this morning.

I love winter, and I love Christmas.

“Hey! Why haven’t you cleared this yet?”

I jumped, turned around and saw Sejin, one of BTS’ managers standing at the studio door.

I frantically pushed my hair behind my ears and bowed, “My apologies, I was just-”

He waved his hand for me to shut up, “I don’t care. Listen, you uh...you can’t go home yet. One of the assistant photographers had to leave and you need to take over.”

My blood was boiling, he can’t be serious? Today was supposed to be the start of my Christmas holidays!

I nodded obediently, “Where do I need to be?”

Yep, I’m definitely their little .

“It’s a night shooting so you need to get on the bus as part of camera crew,” he informed me whilst analysing my expression closely.

I sighed.

...wait.

Bus?

Camera crew?

This means that I finally get a big job; this will be my fist practical shoot!

Noticing my excitement, he fixed his glasses and strolled over to me, “Don’t get too happy. You cannot tweet, snapchat or upload anything onto social media and you definitely cannot interact with any of the members. Is that clear?”

I blinked twice and clenched my teeth, “But I can breathe right?”

Sejin gave me a death glare.

“Banter. Haha!” I chuckled.

He was not amused. “Be outside in fifteen minutes. Clear this up or you won’t be going home this Christmas.” He had the last chuckle as he walked out.

I threw a stray wire behind him as he left and couldn’t stop the huge grin stretching across my face.

This is literally a once in a lifetime opportunity, I get to assist with a proper photo shoot, and that too, a season’s greetings one!

“Flipping hell, why does everything start and end on BTS? Like I’d even try to interact with them...I swear they eat gold dust and out platinum. ing four eyes frog looking Sejin,” I cursed under my breath as I started clearing the wires and cameras.

***

“Haha Hobalah! Pass it here!”

“Hey hey hey! Stop cheating!”

“Jiminie’s height is short!”

“What has that got to do with anything?!”

I scowled and tried to cover my ears with my wool scarf, but could still hear them playing games at the back of the bus.

Don’t get me wrong, I do find their friendship amazingly cute, but sleeping is a precious thing.

I checked my watch, it was 7pm on December 23rd and I was trying to catch a quick nap before we’d have a whole night of shooting ahead of us in minus temperatures.

I turned around and saw who the culprits were. As usual, it was Jimin, Taehyung and J-Hope.

Jungkook was frowning in the corner, pissed off that he lost whatever game they were playing whilst Jin and Rap Monster were immersed in telling each other cheesy jokes.

My eyes faltered to Suga who was fast asleep on the seat in front of everyone, I guess he’d learnt how to sleep through hurricanes.

Silky streaks of his jet black hair delicately fell across his shut eyes; he even slept like an angel.

I quickly turned to the front; we still hadn’t left because a makeup artist was running late.

“Why aren’t we going yet?! It’s been twenty minutes already!” Jungkook shouted from the back as Sejin turned around apologetically.

“We’re waiting for Sarah,” he replied.

He’s so calm when he speaks to BTS because he knows they control his salary, ugh, what a prick.

I rolled my eyes and couldn’t help myself, “Oh so I couldn’t be late, but Sarah can? Talk about double standards, or maybe it’s something more.”

How was I supposed to know that they’d all go silent at that very moment?

Everyone heard what I’d said and I could hear the rest of the camera crew and two other makeup artists snigger and tut at my attitude.

I went red and looked straight down at my brogues.

The silence lingered, even BTS could feel the tension.

“You know what? I’m sick and tired of your attitude. Get off.”

My whole face turned crimson red as I heard shocks and gasps from the crew, “Silly girl, she’s really pissed him off this time...”

I turned to Sejin with confusion.

“Are you deaf? I said get off. Now!”

I gulped, me and my big mouth.

I closed my eyes for a split second, anger and embarrassment running through my veins.

Sejin wasn’t even in charge of me; my boss was Bang PD nim.

“I-I’m sorry...” I trailed off as Sarah came stumbling in the bus.

“Haha! Oh my gosh! I’m like, so late! Oops forgive me, I had to get a few things done. I couldn’t even find my hat!” Her shrill voice echoed through the bus until she realised the tension.

“You’re just in time. I don’t want to touch her, please Hana off our bus,” Sejin smirked venomously, keeping his eyes on me to enjoy my reaction.

This bastard.

Sarah looked down at me, oh how I hated this dumb .

She got the other apprenticeship as a makeup artist for BTS, but she was a drop dead gorgeous blonde American bimbo and I was just a plain old Korean who was born in America.

“Come on then,” she tried to grab my wrist with clear satisfaction on her face.

I lost it and stood up.

I pushed her off me and glared at Sejin, “You know what? I don’t even want to be here so you can take your camera assistant job and shove it where the sun don’t shine! Ya, I am sick and tired of being treated like this!” I yelled as I grabbed my bag and stomped off the BTS bus, shaking with fury.

I trudged through the snow, all the way down the street before I stopped in my tracks.

I instantly regretted my decision and dropped down, tears in my eyes as cars sped past, eager to get home for Christmas.

“What to do now? Mum and Dad will be so disappointed when they find out what I did!” I cried to myself as the cold was turning my cheeks and nose a rosy pink.

That bastard Sejin, he was waiting for an opportunity to embarrass me like that in front of everyone.

Well at least Suga was sleeping.

***

SIX MONTHS AGO.

Okay, turn left and then right at the BBQ restaurant and you should be there.

Ya that’s what the taxi driver told me to do, so why isn’t it that simple?

I’m late on my first day and I’d definitely have a destroyed reputation.

Thanks a million Seoul traffic. I tried to stop passersby, but everyone was too busy and immersed in their smartphones to acknowledge my presence.

I tutted and sighed, I was already half an hour late; there was no point in attending this introductory meeting.

Everyone here was really rude and unhelpful; why did I think that I even stand a chance of surviving alone in Seoul?

Just as I was about to give up and turn back to the temporary house given to me by my college, someone tapped my shoulder once.

“Hey student, is it you who’s looking for Bang PD nim?”

The voice was deep and lazy, yet this was the only kindness I’d received since I got off the plane. Student?! I must look so young from behind.

I beamed and quickly turned around, before my smile dropped.

The voice belonged to a tall, lean figure.

I gulped, it was Suga from BTS.

Okay try not to freak out, you’ve met and worked with Jackson Wang and GD before back in New York, just play it cool.

I nodded, “Yes, it's me.”

He tilted his head to the side and nodded once, beautiful orbs tracing the building behind me.

I was too lost in analysing his flawless face to realise that he was speaking to me.

He stared at me plainly, “Do you understand?”

I shook my head at my stupid girl self. “No I was daydreaming, please tell me again.”

Raising his eyebrows ever so slightly, he chuckled, "I’m going there anyway, follow me if you want.”

I nodded and scuttled behind him as he pulled up his face mask; everything about him was so damn handsome!

All my life I’ve crushed over this guy.

My father was the Principal of Daegu High School, and he along with some other members of BTS went there too.

I remember always watching Suga strolling through the corridors and gawking at him play basketball from the stands with big eyes and a pounding heart; he was so carefree and cool.

Although he was much older than me, I always saved a special place for him in my soul that no other guy could take, even if they tried.

“...Okay, so his room is just through there.”

I snapped out of my thoughts, we were inside a massive, modern building.

“Uh... actually, I’m really late. Half an hour. I don’t think there’s even a point in going in as I’ll just be shouted at,” I truthfully replied as Suga’s facial expression remained ambiguous.

“Do you ever lie?” He asked blankly as I blushed.

“It would be a lie if I said no. But maybe that would be my first lie then?” I pondered as his expression tensed slightly.

“Whatever.”

I blushed again, what the actual is wrong with me, why do I say weird stuff?

Just before he entered the elevator, he stopped and turned to me slowly.

We were inches from each other, and I could smell his Jo Malone Blackberry perfume.

His jet black hair complements his milky pale skin and delicate face perfectly, thank God I’m way smaller than he is or I’d be even more embarrassed at how ugly I am compared to him.

“I’ve never met someone like you before, you’re different. Don’t change yourself for anyone. By the way, Bang PD nim isn’t that bad,” he said monotonously before he put headphones in and walked away lazily.

My mouth refused to close; did he just say that to me?

Did Suga, motionless Min, scary old grandpa just compliment me?

I must be dreaming, it isn’t Christmas yet so why is an ounce of my dreams becoming a reality?!

SUGA’S POV

“Play with the snow Yoongi! Yes, that’s it, give us a smile too!”

They were clicking away as the multicoloured Christmas lights shone brightly and the minus temperature made my teeth chatter.

I clenched my numb jaw before flashing a gummy smile, when will this be over.

“And...that’s...the...final...shot! Pack up time!” The main photographer shouted out as Taehyung and Hobi went wild.

I dropped my sulkiness and strolled over to them; I couldn’t help but grin now that our last photo shoot of the year was over.

“Hahaha look how happy Suga hyung is!” Namjoon shouted as Jungkook threw a snowball at Jimin but missed and hit my back instead.

They all went silent and covered their laughter as I looked from my back to Jungkook’s half moon eyes. I nodded my head slowly and bent down to the ground, secretly piling up snow before I quickly turned around and hurled it at Jungkook.

“Haha! Suga hyung missed!” He laughed childishly before Jin hyung crept up behind him and stuffed snow down his shirt.

I burst out laughing and met Jimin’s cute eye smile, he was filming them all so that he could post it up for ARMY later on.

I fluffed my hair and jogged back to our van. I looked around at the camera crew who were now packing up, talking about how they’d spend Christmas.

“Come here, let me fix your foundation,” I noticed the American called Sarah approach me as I stepped back and ignored her.

She met Sejin's eye who told her to go away as she slid off.

I don’t know why, but I was irritated that Hana wasn’t here.

Sejin was trying to say something to me, but I zoned out and threw myself on two empty seats, covering my face with an arm.

“I’ll turn the heating on then,” was all I heard him say before moments later, laughter resonated through the van as the youngers ran in, followed by the rest of Bangtan.

I immediately turned to the side, an automatic reaction whenever I know they’re coming in from playing.

I’m so used to their noise, but today I was pissed off that Hana didn’t attend our shoot.

I had everything planned out in my mind, I’d take her by the hand after the shoot was over and we’d spend the holidays together, starting with going to see the lights.

She’s obviously so dumb as to how I feel about her, she needs to know.

“My hands...look at how red they are!” Jungkook sniggered loudly, before I heard the members shushing him.

“Ya, ya Jungkookie. Suga’s sleeping,” Hobi warned, but Taehyung thought it was funny to try and disturb my slumber.

“Suga hyung...” He whispered childishly as he stuffed a camera in my face.

“Taetae, you’re gonna get it,” Jimin warned as Rapmonster tutted.

“Hey, hey! It’s for ARMY so hyung can’t get mad,” Taehyung chuckled.

He was wrong.

I kicked him where it hurts as he stumbled and from the sound of it, fell on top of Jin hyung.

“We told you so!” Jimin laughed, before Taehyung whined and sat in his seat, the bus was finally moving.

LAST WEEK.

I fell backwards as someone came stumbling into me.

“Watch it,” I grunted as I got up and brushed my leather clothes off, but she was still on the floor, camera equipment spread out around her.

I sighed; it’s so annoying how flimsy girls are.

Just as I was about to help her up, she lifted her long hair off the ground and was about to throw an evil stare in my direction.

“You...!”

She paused when our eyes met.

It was Hana.

I gulped and my eyes widened slightly as I fixed my in-ear piece, it was nearly our performance time and I could already feel butterflies.

But I’d performed on so many stages before, this wasn’t stage fright.

“Oh...um...sorry...I...” she stammered, before I my dry lips and put out a hand for her to take.

I don’t usually do this to girls, but she’s an exception and always will be as long as I breathe.

“I’m okay, seriously, haha-”

I cut her off, “You aren't. You’re still on the floor. Take my hand.”

Her face turned a cute shade of pink as an automatic half-smile creeped on my face; she always makes this expression whenever she stumbles...

“Hyung, hyung.”

I stirred and squinted my eyes at the bright light of the bus, we were back at Big Hit building.

I stared up at who dared try to wake me up, but it was Jimin who flashed me his priceless eye smile.

Even if I wanted to be angry, I can’t whenever he shows me his cute, mochi face.

“You sleep so well haha. Time to collect our stuff and then we can go home. Can you believe we get to go home this year!” He took care not to shout as I just woke up, even though he was ecstatic.

I sat up and noticed the other members had already gone inside, it was too cold to be lingering outside.

“What time is it?” I asked lethargically, pushing my styled black hair to the side.

Jimin checked my watch, “3 am. Come on, let’s get you inside.”

I couldn’t help but smile as I put an arm around Jimin and we got off the bus.

I rubbed my eyes again and looked around, but it was an empty bus.

Hana, where did you go?

***

17 YEAR OLD SUGA, DAEGU HIGH.

“Hey student, watch where you’re going!” Namjoon hooted with disbelief at a girl who ran past us.

Jin hyung tapped him on the shoulder disapprovingly, “You shouldn’t speak to girls like that. She obviously got scared at how tall you are!”

“And she should be. If I see her again, she’ll know not to mess with Rapmonster.”

“What does that mean?!”

They turned to me for advice, but I didn’t care as I loosened my tie and kept my head down with hands deep in my trouser pockets. Teachers had enough of us, so the principal was personally about to punish 'the troublesome '.

“You go in first,” Namjoon whispered to Jin hyung as he shook his head.

“Hell no, it’s your fault we’re here. If you didn’t lock the music teacher out of class and play your mixtape out loud, we’d be at home enjoying the holidays like everyone else,” Jin murmured back.

We were inches away from the Principal’s door and I knew he could hear us.

I grimaced, “Ya ya move. I’ll go in first, it’s not that big of a deal.”

As soon as I opened the wooden door, I felt a weight push me back.

“Oh no! Forgive me, I-I'm sorry-”

She crashed into my chest as we staggered back. Namjoon chortled mischievously before pushing Jin hyung in front of him as they clambered on inside. For goodness sake, why doesn’t he care that a girl is trapped between me and the door?

I tried to keep myself as far away from her in the little gap Namjoon left me with, before my eyes fell upon her face.

She couldn’t be more than 14 years old, she was a kid.

Yet, I couldn’t help but gawk at her purity and innocence even though she was embarrassed like crazy.

Her cheeks turned a cute shade of pink as her shiny hair dropped down her face in strands.

I was instantly mesmerised.

“Min Yoongi, get inside, now!” the Principal raised his voice at me, but I couldn’t take my eyes off this girl.

I’m not attracted to physical beauty, but this girl, ya, she was an angel and brought life to my dull eyes.

I heard Namjoon hoot teasingly, “Haha Suga hyung! You don’t want to do that for too long...”

There was a thick whacking sound as I looked up and saw the Principal swatting Namjoon on the back of his head with a dictionary as Jin hyung was watching me humorously.

The girl was petite as she easily squeezed past me, bowing her head with courtesy as I could only watch her run off like a dolly...

HANA’S POV

“Can you see me now Hana?”

I moved around the front room, attempting to get hold of weak Wi-Fi signal as my little sister was on the other end of FaceTime.

I didn’t want to leave the front room because this was the only place where there was a fireplace, keeping everything warm. The whole house was cold as the heating was damaged due to the snow blizzard outside.

“No...wait, yes! I can see you now! Aw Grace I haven’t seen your ugly little face in ages!” I squealed excitedly as my little sister started laughing.

They were all back in New York and I was alone in Seoul.

“Everyone is here, and...I hate to say it but we kind of miss your presence,” Grace replied sadly, giving me puppy eyes as I threw myself on the armchair near the fireplace.

“Show me the house,” I asked, ignoring what she said.

“Is that Hana? Give it here.”

I blinked as I saw my beautiful mother gasping at the sight of me.

I waved, “Hey Mummy, you all look so busy.”

She nodded and cupped , “Haven’t you been eating properly? Are they overworking you? Ya you wretch! Why are you never with family at Christmas time?!”

I threw my head back and held the phone in one hand whilst brushing my long hair back with the other, “Sorry Mum, that’s the life of a student like me. Where’s Dad?”

“He’s gone to pick up your uncles from the airport,” she replied as she entered our crowded kitchen.

“Who’s that? Is it Hana?” I heard all four of my mum’s sisters' question simultaneously as they started arguing to grab the phone.

There was laughter and happy shouting in the back as I could hear all my cousin’s playing truth or dare.

“Mum, give it here, you’re going to end the call! It took me ages to get through, and apparently the snow is worse in Seoul than over here,” Grace maturely said as my eyes were tearing up after seeing how lively my house was.

“I’ll hold it, you just say whatever,” Grace continued after my aunts and mum protested to see me.

Grace turned the camera around and I saw everyone huddled around different places of the kitchen. Mum was stirring a huge pot whilst my young aunts were chopping vegetables and gossiping.

“Ya! You brat, why haven’t I seen your face this whole year?”

“Hey, don’t say that! Hana darling, are you spending Christmas with friends?” My favourite aunty asked as I blew a kiss to her.

“Yes, of course...th-they are all still caught up with work but we’re going out for dinner tonight,” I lied as my voice started wobbling.

“Okay, my battery is about to die, they all love you and will call you soon,” Grace took the phone away from the kitchen as they started shouting for her to come back.

She was now in the hallway of our three storey house, but she couldn’t escape noise no matter where she went.

“I - can’t hear you - but - I’ll send pictures of - the - HEY! DON’T YOU DARE TOUCH THE TREE, IT TOOK ME HOURS TO DECORATE IT!” She roared at my boy cousins who do this every year just to annoy her.

She dropped the phone as I was left staring at our ceiling.

I sighed and looked around me, it was cold and dark over here.

I didn’t even have a Christmas tree and no one was cooking any food, I just had myself, a snow blizzard, a weak fireplace and empty rooms.

After muffled shouting and screaming, she picked up the phone and flung her short hair back dramatically.

“Luckily the girls stopped them, or I’d have gone mental. Do you want to see the lights Dad put up with the neighbour’s help?” Grace asked excitedly as she was already outside our glowing house.

She turned the camera around and trudged through two feet of fresh snow as all the grand houses on the street were lit up with colourful lights and glistening Santa Clause decorations.

Our house was draped with golden lights, snowmen and sleighs as I heard Dad's Range Rover pull up and all five of our Uncles laughing merrily.

Just as Dad was coming to hug Grace, the FaceTime call got cut and I was left staring at a blank screen in silence.

I gazed at my phone, just seconds ago everything felt so happy.

Lonely silence echoed through my front room save the blowing wind.

The grandfather clock was ticking away as strong gusts were mercilessly slapping the window panes.

It was 3am here in Seoul, and on the other side of the world in New York, my family were celebrating the holidays together with good food, merry laughter, love and joy.

I slowly got out of my armchair and walked over to the window.

My hands clicked the latch open as I stuck my head halfway out, listening to the whooshing sound of cold wind and snow.

My vision was obscured by white flakes racing everywhere as I looked up into the night sky.

It was Christmas Eve and when I closed my eyes, I could hear the faint sounds of a choir accompanied by a grand piano playing carols far off in the distance.

***

DAEGU HIGH.

I sighed, Dad always has to work so late.

Today he had an important parent teacher association meeting and it was already 5pm.

Grace is so lucky that Mum picks her up from school, unlike me who has to wait for Dad to finish his Principal duties. Urgh, Christmas is around the corner and we should already be at home with the whole family!

It was freezing cold as I shivered in my uniform, black tights and thick fur coat.

I decided to head over to my favourite place of the school, the music room.

As I was strolling through the music corridor, I heard the sound of my favourite classical piano piece resonating melodiously.

Ludwig Van Beethoven’s Fur Elise.

I paced over to the door and closed my eyes, letting the harmony ensnare my senses.

After a while, the piano went offkey as I peered inside the glass part of the door.

I gulped and bit the inside of my cheek.

Suga had his head resting on the piano, he seemed so broken and isolated, even lonelier than I.

Something stopped me from rushing away, something inside me was saying to go and comfort him.

Before I knew it, my hands had pushed open the door and I was standing behind this handsome senior.

He never turned around as I stood watching his pale jaw flex and his bony fingers graze the black and white keys longingly.

“That was one of my favourite pieces, why did you stop?” I murmured as Suga ignored me.

Moments passed between us.

“Don’t pretend like you know about the piano. Only few know the deep rooted love behind these keys and paddles,” he grumbled arrogantly, head still leaning on the piano.

I frowned, how can he assume that? He was obviously in one of his bad moods. I always see the prettiest girls get hideously embarrassed because they make the mistake of acting silly around him, trying to get his attention.

When I was alienated because everyone thought I became too influenced by Western culture, the piano became my best friend.

I brushed him away and my fingers dangled across the keys effortlessly as I played the first piece which came to mind.

My eyes were closed as I played away; unaware that Suga had sat up and was eagerly watching me.

I ended the last key and breathed heavily before opening my eyes to a more relaxed boy who was resting his head on his palm, beautiful almond eyes locked with mine.

“Francais Lai, Love Story. Now that’s my favourite,” he chirped with an almost friendly tone as I immediately blushed and let hair fall across my now pink cheeks.

I chuckled sheepishly, “Sorry, I got a bit carried away. I was actually waiting for my dad and decided to come here, but I heard you playing and-”

He cut me off gently, “Love means never having to say you’re sorry, for anything.”

My eyes widened as my heart pumped uncontrollably, “Huh?”

Suga looked away calmly but one hand fiddled with the bottom of his school tie whilst the other with his silver earring, “From the film Love Story. It’s where your piece is from.”

I nodded quickly and there was a deep silence between us, but I could still feel fairy dust being sprinkled everywhere, why can’t every day involve him?

Suga turned back to me as I kept my gaze locked on the piano keys.

“Hana. Why do you always make me...” he trailed off as someone opened the door.

“Here you are honey! I've been looking for you everywhere! Ah, Min Yoongi. Why haven’t you gone home yet? Another detention?”

It was Dad. Why did you have to come now?

I stole a glance at Suga and noticed his expression became blank again.

He didn’t say anything, just nodded once and picked up his bag before strolling to the door and bowing to Dad before leaving.

“Let’s go home,” Dad said firmly as I obliged and smiled to myself, Suga was perfect.

I opened my eyes and felt a hot tear glide down my cheek.

Who was I kidding?

Why was I so excited to come back to Korea?

No one was even here for me.

My family had all moved abroad and the person who I love is a famous idol.

Oh and not forgetting the major setback that he probably - no he definitely doesn’t love me back.

It’s just all in my head, I always over analyse everything.

Oh wait, let’s not forget that I’ll be fired from my apprenticeship.

Forget everything.

Why would I even think that Min Yoongi... why would I convince myself that Suga of BTS could fall for a girl like me, when he has the choice of thousands, if not millions, of stunning girls?

As I stared into the night sky, the stars were shining bright, but my heart was aching more than ever. I blinked and felt another tear roll down my cheek; I hate this feeling of longing and isolation.

I’m so used to having a huge, loving family in New York and where I’m supposed to be at home is where I have no one.

I wiped my tears with the back of my hand and noticed one star shining brighter and bigger than the rest. It was huge and ever so captivating; I was scared to blink just in case it disappears.

“I don’t know why I’m doing this but...please...please just for once, just this one Christmas...please let what’s mine come to me. I want to experience happiness just this onetime,” I whispered with my hands clenched tightly on the windowsill.

I blinked and sniffed, the star was still shining bright as I smiled to myself.

I hope it’s not a lost star. I hope it’s the Christmas Eve star that only shows itself once every now and then.

I shivered and rubbed my hands together for warmth, before closing the window, strolling up the stairs and into my room.

I slipped into bed and curled up into a little ball. Even the sheets were icy cold as I tried generating as much warmth as I could.

“Goodnight Hana, sleep tight,” I mumbled to myself as I drowsed off.

SUGA’S POV

“That’s a great plan hyung! Hehe, she’ll be so happy!”

“Shh, you’re too loud Taehyung!” Namjoon scolded as said boy dropped himself back to the ground.

“I already snuck in and got noona’s folder,” Jungkook informed us as I flashed my gummy smile and patted him on the back repetitively.

“Is there anything you can’t do?” Hobi chuckled with disbelief.

Jungkook looked smug as Jimin ruffled his hair, “That’s why he’s the golden maknae.”

“But the real question is, does the folder even contain her address?” Jin hyung asked seriously as I opened the folder and wafted through the documents until I found her personal details.

I scanned the sheet and saw her New York address, but couldn’t find her Seoul one.

“Check the back, check her college forms,” Jimin prodded me as I ruffled through, my heart pounding before I let out a sigh of relief.

I looked to my brothers, I couldn’t ask for a better family. They were all willing to sacrifice Christmas with their families just so they could help me make Hana’s Christmas the best one ever.

“You really don’t have to do this. I’ll manage alone, go back home before Christmas Day,” I looked to each of them genuinely as they all tutted in unison.

“Ya this hyung!” Jungkook exclaimed with wide eyes.

Taehyung slid himself to me, putting his long arm over my shoulder, “Hyung. You’re happiness is ours and we all love Hana too! She’s so cool!”

They all nodded in agreement, but I wasn’t convinced. Noticing my hesitation, they all formed a tight circle around me.

“Seriously Suga, don’t be like this. This is what family does, don’t make us feel like strangers,” Jin hyung warned as I looked down and smiled.

“Let’s decide who’s doing what,” Rapmonster said in his leader voice as I looked at their confused faces.

“Okay so if you’re all down, this is the plan. Jungkook and Jimin, go and get boxes of decorations from the storage room, Jin hyung and Hobi get the costumes and Taehyung and Rapmonster will get the tree,” I told them all, trying to contain my laughter at their serious expressions.

Before I could continue, Taehyung cut me off. “Hyung! Rap Mon will end up breaking the tree!” He complained as Rapmonster looked shocked at this accusation.

“Ya! How can I possibly break a tree?!”

“You can’t, but we all know you’ll find a way!” Taehyung couldn’t hold back his laughter, and neither could we as we all enjoyed this moment.

“OkayTae, you get the tree alone then. I’ll text all of you her address, everyone be there in an hour, we only have until the morning.”

“What about you hyung?” Jimin asked cutely, brushing his blonde hair back as everyone else was walking out, chatting with excitement.

“I’m going there right now to make sure there’s a way in. For the first time I’ve found someone who I hate leaving,” I said the last part quietly, but Jimin heard as he edged into me.

“I’ve never seen you care about anyone this much.”

I kept my gaze down and nodded solemnly, “I care about all of you more than you’ll know, but actions speak louder than words. But with Hana, she needs someone to show her how special she really is. No matter what mood I’m in, the thought of her always makes me smile. ”

Jimin stared at me lovingly as I eventually looked up and met his smiling eyes, “What?”

“Sometimes all it takes is one special person to help us find someone inside us that we didn’t know even existed. I like this Suga hyung,” his eyes became puffier as he squeezed my hand and walked out, leaving me alone.

I scratched the back of my head and smiled childishly, what was this girl doing to me?

Just as I was putting Hana’s folder back in the administration cabinet, I heard someone behind me.

I turned around, it was Sejin.

“I don’t know what all of you are planning, but you need to stay away from anything which could get you into trouble. You know who I mean,” he spat.

I slammed the cabinet door, before gritting my teeth and turning to face him.

Calm down Yoongi, just don’t give a about what he has to say.

He looked taken aback at my sudden anger as I smirked.

“I appreciate your care, but stay out of my personal life. I’ve tolerated and overlooked your attitude towards Hana because we were working, but no more. If you try to make things worse for her, Bang PD nim will find out the true reason as to why Sarah, who can’t even blend our foundations into our necks properly, is still here.”

I stared at him plainly, his glasses slipping down his nose from sweat as I walked past him, only stopping to pat his shoulder before opening the door.

There were footsteps and shuffling as the door opened and Taehyung, Jungkook, Hobi and Namjoon all came toppling forward.

“Haha...that was a good one hyung,” they all laughed sheepishly as they’d just been caught eavesdropping.

I sighed and shook my head, as we all wrapped up in thick layers before venturing into the snow storm outside, determined to make Hana’s Christmas perfect.

We only have tonight, we only have Christmas Eve.

HANA’S POV

I slurred at the sound of loud Christmas bells ringing in the distance.

It was Christmas Day.

People were laughing and singing Christmas carols cheerfully down the street, all the way to the neighbourhood Church from which a choir could be heard in blissful harmony.

Children were playing in the snow and having snowball fights on the pavement and roads.

I slowly opened my eyes and a bright ray of frosty sunshine poured in through my window, the pure white snow and yellow sun dazzling the atmosphere and even making the darkest corners bright with happiness.

Everyone was with their families and it took me a few seconds to register that I wasn’t with mine.

I sighed and crashed my head back down on my pillow, trying to imagine how all thirty people back home would be waking up.

Just as I was about to fall back to sleep, a mouth-watering smell pierced my nostrils.

It was so sweet, cosily warm and...

...PANCAKES!

I jumped out of bed and threw my long hair back as I pressed my nose on the window, it definitely wasn’t coming from outside as I moved my head away.

I sniffed the atmosphere and heard something clang hard, before someone was being scolded.

I froze, it was coming from downstairs.

My belly was growling at the scrummy smell of fresh maple pancakes (yes I know my food smells) as I slipped on my furry penguin slippers and tiptoed into the landing, trying not to make a sound.

My hair was covering my face as I was too busy looking at the floorboards to notice someone in front of me.

“SHE’S AWAKE!”

I jumped back at the sudden noise and screamed with wide eyes before I was staring into the happy, smiley face of J-Hope. I was shocked and my eyebrows were furrowed, as I tried to repress my laughter, but felt queasy at the same time.

He was dressed in an elf costume, complete with upward curled shoes and even bells dangling off!

“What the...I mean how did you-”

He cut me off by gently taking my wrist, “Come with me.”

I was too surprised to say anything back as he stopped on the landing at the top of the stairs, and bent his knees so he met my height.

I stared at his finely shaped face and crescent eyes before he jumped behind me and covered mine with a silk blindfold.

“Oh my-”

He cut me off again, “Be careful when coming down the stairs, just hold onto my hand.”

I wobbled a few times, I must still be dreaming.

Please let me not wake up, not now.

J-Hope held onto my hand firmly as we finally reached the bottom and I could hear someone telling others to shush, before we stopped.

“Hoseok-ssi, what’s happening?” I questioned quietly, before I felt a new pair of hands at the back of my head.

They were undoing the blindfold ever so gently, and their hands were huge and bony, but the warmth that was radiating off them shot arrows of happiness straight to my heart.

My other senses were prevailing as I felt sensationally warm breath run down my eardrum, “Merry Christmas Hana.”

That deep voice only belongs to the sweetest guy I know...

Before I even had a chance to blush, my eyes were set free and the scene in front of me made my mouth drop open.

My front room had become a fantastical creation.

Magnificent Christmas decorations were hanging down from the ceiling.

The wooden fireplace was decorated with luxury stockings and holly, with red and white candles burning away, letting off frankincense, rose and sandalwood scents.

My wide eyes slowly darted next to the armchair, as there stood a glorious Christmas tree, adorned with silver and red baubles, tinsel, stone angels and turtle doves hanging off each branch, with a huge, golden star shining right at the top.

I blinked as tears couldn’t stop falling.

Tears of happiness.

“Ya hyung, I don’t think she’s even seen us yet.”

“Haha, she’s so shocked!”

“Hana-ssi, look at us! We are the main attraction!”

I pinched the back of my wrist, this wasn’t true.

My cloudy vision was now gaping at five gorgeous guys sitting cross legged around the tree, dressed in adorable elf costumes and holding beautifully wrapped Christmas presents in their laps.

“Oh...my...God...” I croaked as Taehyung, Jungkook and Jimin jumped up happily.

“Surprise!” They all yelled in unison, doing jazz hands as Jimin laughed a cute laugh.

“Wh-what the...” I was still in shock as I rubbed my eyes.

This couldn’t be real.

Things like this don’t happen to plain people like me.

Before I could say anything, Rapmonster and J-Hope jumped in front of me, “You aren’t dreaming Hana-ssi!”

“We know you aren’t spending Christmas with your family and seeing as we’ve all taken such a liking to you, we wanted to make this Christmas unforgettable. Forget Sejin, you’re one of the best girls around,” Jimin’s kind words instantly melted my heart as I grinned at his puppy eyes.

I was choking with happiness, as I looked around, “You guys did all this? By yourselves?”

They all looked chuffed, “Of course. We are the bulletproof talented boys after all.”

I tilted my head back, laughing whilst brushing hair off my forehead rapidly.

Only last night, this room was dark and dull and now it was filled to the brim with festive celebration, I seriously must’ve saved the world in my previous life.

Jimin, Jungkook and Taehyung were holding hands and swirling in a circle, getting into their characters of being elves as I couldn’t hold back my laughter.

“Everyone make space, hot food coming through! Namjoon, be a babe and get the cutlery and tissues,” Jin emerged from the kitchen with trays full of pancakes, blueberries and maple syrup as he was a mouth dropping handsome elf.

“Ya! PANCAKES!” Jungkook shouted excitedly.

Taehyung started rolling side to side on the floor, “Pancakes, pancakes, pancakes!”

Jimin staggered back with laughter as he brushed his golden hair back, ashamed and shy at their behaviour.

“Hana! Ya, you guys didn’t even call me down to say surprise!” Jin whined as I was smiling uncontrollably.

“Jin oppa, the pancakes were you?! Ya, this is what woke me up!” I clapped my hands excitedly as Jin smiled at me lovingly.

“Why doesn’t she call me oppa?” Taehyung complained childishly as everyone tutted at him, but I giggled.

“Taehyung oppa, you are something special.”

He was satisfied as Jimin whacked his head lightly.

I was beaming at the sight of everyone gathering around the trays of pancakes, before I stopped laughing.

Everyone was chatting and playing amongst themselves, J-Hope even turned an old Christmas record on as ‘Jingle Bells’ was now playing smoothly.

I turned around frantically, my eyes searching for one missing elf.

All of a sudden, someone pulled me away from everyone by the waist and pinned me against the hallway wall.

My eyes locked with Suga’s deep tunnels. They were warm and made me feel fuzzy inside. His body was inches away from mine, we were both staring intently at each other as I could feel sparks erupting inside me.

He was wearing a Santa Claus hat as black streaks of hair were jutting out, covering his forehead, and giving him an even ier aura.

Butterflies whizzed around my empty stomach as Suga didn’t say a word, his honey-brown saucers gazing at every inch of my face. I could hear the pounding of my heart and could feel his warm breath tickle my flushed skin.

He always stares at me like this, and I always become so weak.

Feeling shy, I looked down.

Suga gently turned my chin up to face him, but I kept my gaze lowered, aware that I was blushing and had gone bright pink.

“It’s been too long since I’ve looked into your eyes,” Suga’s deep voice whispered as I let strands of hair conceal my hot cheeks.

I was scared that if I said something, this bubble would pop and my dreams would fly away.

Noticing what I did, he softly held my hair in one hand and flicked it back, so my whole face was exposed.

Flowering my jaw, “Ya Hana, you don’t need to say anything. Just never go far away,” Suga muttered as his captivating presence was taking over my spirit.

I was so much smaller than him as he craned his neck down to stare at me fully, soft hair covering his brows and his prominent jaw flexing.

One hand was flat against the wall behind whilst the other was my bottom lip. His silver necklace was dangling down on my shoulder as I was inches, only centimetres away from his plump, pink lips...

“Hana, Yoongi, come and eat! Ya, no one is touching anything before Hana,” Jin shouted from the front room.

“Yes mum,” I replied without thinking as there was an eruption of laughter.

“Ya, why are you laughing? It’s time I had a daughter,” Jin retorted defensively and I smiled, before realising whose shadow I was in.

Suga chuckled above me as I was still lost in his embrace, but it felt so natural.

I felt so safe, protected and carefree.

I swallowed and felt heat rush to my cheeks, my heart was pounding against my ribcage as I dipped my head and scuttled under his arm, into the front room.

“And here she is, whoop whoop! Let’s eat!” Taehyung and Rapmonster shouted happily as I felt Jungkook’s round eyes watching me sit down.

I looked up at him and he instantly looked away, biting down on his lip and shaking his brown hair to the side.

Suga slumped down next to me and asked me for a plate.

With trembling hands, I grabbed a plate with two pancakes from a friendly Jimin who was sitting opposite, but it fell on Jungkook as syrup stained his shirt.

“Oh no! I'm so sorry-” I began but was cut off.

“Haha, it’s okay Hana, don’t worry!” Both Jimin and J-Hope assured me quickly as the rest were too busy eating and laughing to notice.

“It’s okay, it’s fine,” Jungkook grumbled as he tried to get up but the sticky syrup was causing him discomfort.

I turned to Suga who was already looking at me.

“Butterfingers,” he teased before going to the kitchen and coming back with a wet cloth.

I stared at Jungkook who didn’t know what to do with it, he was an overgrown child and although he looked like a fully grown man, he was still a baby by face and at heart.

I picked up the cloth, chuckled and went over to him, dabbing his arms and shirt carefully.

“My little cousins always end up with syrup on their clothes too,” I grinned as Jungkook was cleaned up.

I met his round moon eyes and he dropped them shyly, “Thanks noona.”

“It’s okay, it was my fault,” I replied cheerfully before sitting back next to Suga.

Everyone was taking a second helping of pancakes that Jin freshly brought out as I turned to Suga.

“I’ll get you some more,” I told him happily, but he was on his phone and ignored what I said.

I frowned and repeated myself, “I said I’ll get you some more.”

Ignoring me yet again, Suga took his Santa Claus hat off, threw it on the floor and walked out of the front room door.

My eyes watched him leave the room sadly, I’ve always seen his moods fluctuate, but he never gets moody because of me.

I turned back around as Jimin noticed my distant expression. He slid next to me as everyone got up and were now playing musical chairs. “You haven’t eaten anything,” he said comfortingly.

I shook my head and let my hair fall to conceal my face, “I’m not hungry,” I replied as Jimin pushed one strand away from my eyes.

“Ignore him, he’s always moody. Just wait, in two minutes he’ll come in and whisk you away,” Jimin assured me as I looked at his smiling face.

Jimin was the first member to smile and wave at me when I first came as an apprentice and although I hardly saw them, he’d always give me a warm welcome.

“Hana-ssi! Why aren’t you over here playing with us?! Jiminie, bring her over!” Taehyung shouted over the Christmas songs as Jimin placed a friendly hand on my back.

I couldn’t stop laughing as the game progressed, we were all like one big, happy family.

Bangtan were like my family, complete with Mother Jin and Father Rapmonster as well.

It was me and Jungkook in the finals as I was getting dizzy from walking around one chair.

“You better watch out, you better not cry, you better not pout I’m telling you why....SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN!” J-Hope and Rapmonster started singing terribly as I was laughing and losing breath from walking in circles.

“Ya, ya, noona’s walking too slowly!” Jungkook complained from behind me as the music stopped.

“Go!” Jimin yelled as both me and Jungkook had half our butts on the chair.

Jungkook towered over me and due to his competitive streak, ended up getting the chair as I fell on the rug.

“Haha! Jungkookie won!” Taehyung yelled happily as they did a victory dance.

“Ya, you pushed her!” Jimin shouted defensively as Jin came over.

He picked me up by the hand, “Hana’s the winner!”

Jungkook stopped and stared at me with wide eyes, “No way! I won fair and square!”

“You can’t push your older sister off like that,” J-Hope laughed as Jungkook scowled and sat down on the armchair with crossed arms.

I chuckled, “Jungkook won fair and square! His was more on the chair than mine in the first place.”

Jungkook jumped up and pretended not to be happy, but couldn’t hide it.

He stopped inches from me and bent his head so we were the same height, “Loser!”

“YA!” I pushed him back as he staggered and pushed me again.

“You’re just a girl noona,” he teased as Taehyung and J-Hope were egging us on, counting down until we should start the fight.

We were circling each other, ready to attack, until Jungkook cheated and pushed me hard so that I fell on my bum.

“Ow!” I moaned, rubbing my lower back as Jungkook pointed down at me and laughed.

Mischief rose in me as I caught him off guard and rammed myself into his stomach, but we both ended up falling on each other.

“Omo, I told you not to do this!” Jin yelled protectively as I was awkwardly lying on top of Jungkook, my hands propped behind his head.

Jungkook went as red as a tomato as I was slipping, trying to get off his front but landing on his chest instead.

I heard laughter echoing loudly which instantly died down as I turned around, my long hair stuck in the bells of Jungkook’s elf costume which dragged me further on him.

It was Suga.

He was at the door and staring wide eyed at me and Jungkook before he walked back out smoothly, slamming the door behind him.

Oh no, he’s got the wrong end of the stick.

There was a silence with Christmas songs playing in the background, until Jimin stepped forward and gently took my tangled hair out from Jungkook’s bell.

“Well that was awkward,” Rapmonster said quietly as he met J-Hope’s eye and they were trying to contain their laughter.

I got up off Jungkook and apologised before running out of the door after Suga.

“Let’s have a snow fight!” Taehyung suggested as I heard everyone laughing and screaming wildly outside moments later.

“It's okayHana, let’s go and make a snowman!” J-Hope put one arm around me soothingly as I tried to smile.

I checked all over the house, but couldn’t find Suga anywhere.

I sighed; something I do always ruins everything.

SUGA’S POV

Why am I feeling so jealous and angry?

Argh, I just can’t take to see her with anyone else even before I’ve made her mine.

And Jungkook of all people, he’s the golden maknae, he has everything and then there’s me. Grumpy Granddad.

it, I don’t care anyway.

I was hiking down the street that was packed with snow, cooling my temper off until I saw Jimin running up to me.

This boy always comes to me when I’m stressed.

His cheeks and button nose were red as he sniffed from the cold. Ya he’s so cute and reminds me of Hana so much.

No words were said, but we were walking at the same pace. Children were laughing and playing in the snow, their Mums and Aunts calling them in for Christmas lunch.

“I’m not angry with her, I’m angry with myself,” I mumbled after a while, as Jimin nodded supportively.

“I know. But maybe you should speak to her properly,” Jimin advised as I turned to look at his smooth face.

“And say what?”

“Tell her everything you tell me. Hyung, you’re not happy when she isn’t around. It is time you confess how you truly feel.”

I nodded once and slumped down on a frozen bench, trying to control my ed up feelings.

HANA’S POV

“We are coming back tomorrow! This isn’t goodbye!” Jin yelled as I felt a long pair of arms around me.

“Don’t open your presents without us! Christmas Day may be over, but we are having part two tomorrow!” Taehyung’s wide eyes smiled at me as I giggled.

I beamed at all the cute elves individually, “Thank you all so much. This was honestly the best Christmas ever! I couldn’t have asked for better friends.”

Jimin and J-Hope covered their faces dramatically, “Don't Hana, you’re going to make us cry!”

I laughed and caught Jungkook’s round eyes as he stepped into me and gave me a brief hug before stepping back.

“Sorry about what happened earlier noona.”

I tiptoed up and ruffled his hair, “Stop it, you’re like my little brother. Don’t apologise, it doesn’t suit you.”

He looked uncomfortable, but laughed anyway before Rapmonster and Jin engulfed me with a warm hug.

“Oh and don’t worry about Sejin, you won’t be getting any more trouble from him. Suga sorted his sorry out,” Rapmonster encouraged me as I tried to smile.

“Ya, you guys!” I sniggered happily.

They honestly did so much for me, even saved my career and I’ll never forget this.

“Exactly what Rapmonnie said. We expect to see you at our next photoshoot!” Jungkook informed me innocently as I nodded, my eyes became crescents.

Jimin stepped into me, “Don’t worry about Yoongi. He’ll come running soon.”

I blushed and nodded, before Jimin engulfed me in the warmest hug.

“Chimchim express is about to take off!”

I waved them all goodbye as they drove back to the Big Hit building.

Closing the door to a sudden silence, Suga hadn’t come to say goodbye, he must really hate me.

Argh, I’m the definition of an idiot.

Well, I can’t have everything and seeing as my Christmas wish was granted, I should be more grateful.

I wandered over to the front room and smiled at the Christmas tree. The decorations were timelessly beautiful. Picking up two turtle doves, I stared at them longingly, two is always a happier number.

Just as I was about to lie down, the doorbell rang. It was probably Namjoon who'd forgotten something.

I strolled down the hallway.

Slowly opening the door, my heart momentarily froze when I saw Suga handsomely looking to the side, his black hair was ruffled messily.

He turned to look at me through his fringe and jolted up the last step into the house, looming over my small height before he sealed the door behind him.

The sun was about to set, radiating an orange glow over the snow. It became gold.

Everything was given a magical glimmer as I was staring into the eyes of who my heart has beaten years for.

Without warning, he grabbed my wrist and dragged me behind him into the front room.

He sat me down on the sofa and plonked himself next to me.

We sat watching the fireplace burn and cackle as the Christmas tree decorations were glistening brightly.

After a while, he spoke.

“Sorry.”

I glanced up at him, but he was already looking at me.

I gulped and lowered my gaze, but Suga never let my eyes fall as he held both my cheeks with the palm of his hands.

No words were exchanged; our eyes were doing the talking as I leant my head on his shoulder.

“I haven’t been able to tell you how much you mean to me Hana.”

I swallowed the lump at the back of my throat.

I gazed up at Suga who was now fiddling with my fingers. I let him carry on. If this means that I don’t have to say anything, I could just sit here and listen to his beautiful voice penetrate my soul all day and all night.

“Ya this is embarrassing...” Suga chuckled and trailed off as he placed my fingers to his lips which were velvety and warm.

I held his other hand in mine and comforted him; I desperately wanted him to tell me what I’ve been so eager to hear all these years.

“It’s just - ever since I first saw you...how do I say this?” He struggled to speak which was so darn cute as I snuggled into his embrace.

I’d never have thought Min Yoongi could run out of words, but there’s always a first for everything.

He continued whilst leaning his head on mine, “You...you’re the only one I don’t mind losing sleep for.”

I laughed out loud, “What does that even mean?!”

He pushed me away, “Yaaa what do you want me to say?”

I inhaled a deep breath and released it back out, I know he’s not good at speaking about his true feelings unless they are in the form of rap.

I guess I’d have to confess how I feel, with words.

“Yoongi,” I began as he turned to me, I’d never called him that before.

I could feel his stunning eyes watching every angle of my face as I leant my back on his chest, trying to cover how red I became.

“Ever since I can remember, I’ve always admired you. But that admiration turned into a teenage crush and well...that crush turned into something more. I don’t claim to know what love is but when I look at you, I-”

He cut me off by sharply turning me around to face him.

“You little devil, why am I so in love with everything you do? Hana, promise never to leave my side. I never knew what it was like to look at someone and smile for no reason. God knows how much I’ve gone through to get to where I am today, yet I’ve always missed out on something. I want to be yours forever, I want you to be mine and I want us to love each other like there’s no tomorrow...”

His confession trailed off as I was lost in his eyes.

All of a sudden, he pinched my cheek.

“Ouch! You ruined our moment!” I whined, rubbing my cheek as the sun had set, the only light was now ensuing from the fireplace.

It was a dim, yet warm and cosy atmosphere.

Yoongi lifted me up and plonked me on his lap as I blushed and held onto his neck like a child.

“At least you know it isn’t a dream,” he replied sluggishly as I laughed and pretended to slap his cheek.

He grabbed my small hand in his, “Never, ever be shy around me. I’ve seen you grow up and believe me, I’ve not thought about anyone else but you.”

I cupped my mouth and laughed, indescribable happiness soaring through me.

“You ert! You watched me grow up!” I teased.

“Well you’re a ert too. Watching a grown up senior when you were still in uniform,” he replied back smugly as I fanned hair off his forehead, revealing his eyebrows which caught him off guard.

“Ya oppa, what took you so long to say all of this?” I asked softly as Yoongi pressed me closer into him.

He caressed my flushed cheek and bunched my long hair behind my back.

“I didn’t know if you’d love me back,” he replied quietly as I stared at his dewy face.

Is he crazy?

“Ya idiot, how can you say that-”

He cut me off by squeezing my cheek again but harder, “Eh he, what happened to oppa?”

I spoke with his hand still squeezing my cheek, “Because you are such an idiot for not realising how much I’ve been crazy over you.”

He let go of my cheek and rolled me back on the sofa, my back flat as he leant his face into mine, we were mere inches away.

There was the distant sound of Mariah Carey’s ‘All I want for Christmas is you’ as Yoongi placed one hand in my silky hair whilst his other hand was delicately my cheek before trailing down to my neck, rubbing small circles there.

I could feel his warm breath as I tried to control my palpitating heart.

My own breathing varied as adrenaline was pumping, oh please let me not mess this up.

The last thing I saw was Yoongi’s milky, dewy skin as a dim glow surrounded us. The last thing I felt was an anchor sinking in my belly as his hair tickled my temple.

Before I knew it, our lips connected like magnets.

Our lips became a bridge for the other’s emotions to be let into as my hands were frozen behind Yoongi, I didn’t know what to do with them as I glued my eyes, I wanted to remember this moment forever.

I was savouring his supple, tender lips, this was the Yoongi I know.

So hard on the outside, yet a fluffy kitten inside. My mouth slowly parted as I felt something hot and wet play with my tongue. Our mouths were locked and the kiss grew deeper. My hands naturally held onto his back as his were changing from carding my hair to fondling my face.

We broke off at the same as I caught Yoongi’s gummy smile spread across his face.

He his lips and pecked mine quickly,“You’re finally mine.”

I giggled quietly and couldn’t stop smiling, it was magical.

He began kissing my nose, cheeks, chin, forehead and eyes as they closed for him to caress. Our foreheads knocked playfully as Yoongi hugged me as tight as he could and I was hugging him back tighter until our souls became one.

We were hugging for so long; listening to each other’s racing hearts and clasping our hands around each other’s backs.

“I’m sorry for overreacting before,” Yoongi apologised through our hug as I brushed my cheek against his shoulder. We had sat back up again, his Jo malone blackberry cologne lingering on us both.

“Don’t apologise, it’s kinda hot when you’re jealous,” I smirked before Yoongi pushed me down on the sofa.

My hair sprawled out behind me first as Yoongi was now hovering on top of me, taking this time to gaze at every feature of my face, before his eyes dropped lower.

He leant on his elbow and used his other hand to my lips.

“I’m only hot when I’m jealous, eh?” He said seductively as pangs of electricity shot through me.

I nodded, playing on devilishly as Yoongi tilted his head inches above mine.

He leant in ravenously and kissed me deeply without warning as I let him take what’s always been his.

My lips parted to let his soul in as I could taste his sweet saliva, my hands ruffling through his soft, black hair as he was pushing me deeper into the sofa with his whole mouth.

He took his lips off mine as he slowly made his way down my chin until my neck, where he began on my collarbone.

I realised this was my soft spot as I let out a soft mewl and clutched onto his hair, but he kept on biting tenderly at spots on my neck until he finally lifted his head up and gazed intensely into my eyes.

His chiselled jaw was flexing hungrily as his warm hands lifted my shirt up and rubbed my lower belly in small circles. The anchor in me was sinking deeper and I could feel my legs spasming involunatrily as Yoongi slowly moved his hands to my chest area where he began kneading my s, they filled his hands. He squeezed them tightly whilst nuzzling into my collar and griding down on me. Something rock hard dug into my belly as he let out a low grunt.

This combined feeling was heaven. Just the right amount of everything. The pace, the mood, ambience, love, romace; it was perfect.

“Christmas isn’t over yet...” he jumped up suddenly and hurled me up by the waist with him.

I wanted all of him; I was so deep in love with him.

“You’re such a tease Yoongi oppa,” I giggled as he lifted me up bridal style before taking me up the stairs with him.

***

“Good morning beautiful,” Yoongi whispered huskily, biting and tickling my ear with his tongue as I curled my neck up.

He started playing with my hair and drawing circles on my scalp before I grabbed his arms and placed them around my waist, pushing my back into his front. We were snug and cosy under the warm duvet as I felt Yoongi wrap his legs around me.

I couldn't control my grin.

The frosty winter sunshine was so welcoming today, it made my heart radiate. This is what true happiness is.

I fell asleep next to Yoongi and woke up thinking I was still dreaming, but Christmas gave me a wish that lasted.

Christmas gifted me my first love.

I rolled my body over to face Yoongi as he tied up my hair in his hand and placed it above my head.

“You love playing with my hair, don’t you?” I chuckled.

He flashed me a gummy smile, his eyes smiling too, “It’s silky and smells like green apple.”

“Well do whatever you like, I’m not bothered anyway. But don’t stop drawing circles!” I whined as I forced his hand back on my head.

He obliged but spoke softly in my ear, "Sorry if I was too rough with you last night."

Vicious knots formed down below as I remembered everything which happened, "N-no, it was perfect."

He smirked, "You are."

Slipping large hands across my bare body, Yoongi fondled me all over as I closed my eyes and let out a soft whimper whenever he my sensitive areas.

He smirked, "So wet already."

I blushed and pecked his cheek before whispering in his ear, "You're hard too."

He chuckled, "Round two will be soon, I promise."

I flicked him as we settled for a front hug, like a parcel. My smile wasn’t vanishing any time soon as we lay in bed together, our bellies aching from laughing at each other’s funny stories.

Neither of us had been happier.

Yoongi tugged me into his chest as his morning hair was softly tickling my neck.

“I want to be the reason you smile every morning, you don’t know how long I was praying for this day. I always wanted to wake up next to you and kiss you. Maybe that’s why I sleep so much.”

“Ya, why are you making excuses for your habits?” I playfully, but he was serious.

“Every time I’d sleep, I was imagining you and I together. Whenever anyone woke me up, I realised it was only a dream. Christmas was never my favourite holiday but I’m going to pray that it comes every day.”

That was hella cringey and Yoongi knew it too, but he meant it from the bottom of his heart, so it automatically melted mine.

I gazed up at him lovingly, “I never want to go back to New York, and I never want to leave your side.”

He cupped my chin seriously, “Then don’t. Don’t go. We’ll bring your family back to Korea and you can introduce me to them. Well, maybe only to your mum and sister, seeing as I was never in your dad's good books.”

“Nonsense, he’s never let it off but Mum told me he was such a rebellious student in his day. Haha imagine his face when he sees who my boyfriend is!” I huffed.

Yoongi flicked my chin, “Not boyfriend, husband. I’m never leaving you, not in this life, not in the next. Actually, you know what, I’ll call them over here myself.”

“What, really?” I gasped as Yoongi chuckled.

“Of course idiot. But for now, we only have a few hours alone until the rest of Bangtan come back,” Yoongi snickered naughtily as he rubbed his nose on mine.

I smiled and pulled his hair that was always changing colour, “Thank you for becoming mine.”

Yoongi flashed me his gummy smile and sat up, towering over me without a shirt on.

“Thank you for letting me smile again.”

A/N: Heyyyy guysss, it’s me again!!! I hope you enjoyed it! ^.^

It’s my first time writing a one-shot and I’d appreciate all and any advice of how to improve for next time.

If you DID like it, leave a comment telling me why...it literally makes me so happy to see a new comment...keke...

MY ULTIMATE BIAS IS SUGA, so I actually imagined myself in Hana’s situation like I hope you all did.

Anyway, I hope each and every one of you has a Merry Christmas with your families and friends wherever you may be! Let us all venture into 2017 with even greater goals and aspirations! <3

And lastly, let’s make 2017 an even happier year for BTS with all our love and support! Fighting!
