Myungeun’s heart was beating so fast as she and one of Lovelyz's managers made their way towards the CEO’s office. The girl was practicing her vocals with Baby Soul when she suddenly got called by the manager to come to the CEO’s place with him.

She couldn’t help but wondered whether she had done something wrong. But it wouldn’t be too bad, right…? I mean, the CEO was a very nice person, someone who was like a father-figure to all the idols and even trainees under Woollim Entertainment. That was what Myungeun had always believed about the man, Lee Jungyeop.

The sight that welcomed her when she and the manager entered the room, however, managed to relief her a bit. Inside the room, she spotted one of her sunbaes, who was no other than Woohyun, along with one of his managers, and of course, the CEO of Woollim Entertainment himself.

The next thing that was announced to Myungeun caused the girl to feel nothing, but excitement. It turned out that she had been chosen as Woohyun’s partner to appear in Immortal Song year-end special! It would be her first solo appearance without other Lovelyz’s member, her first individual schedule after two years of debuting.

"Then... why...?" still feeling unconvinced, Myungeun asked Woohyun again.

“Why? I just thought that your singing-style would match mine better.”, he simply answered the girl.

Myungeun's happiness upon hearing Woohyun's simple yet meaningful answer could not be described with words. The sunbae who was a role-model of her actually thought that way, despite that she was still lacking as a vocalist.

"Thank you, Oppa...." without noticing, Myungeun began to tear up as she uttered the words. She was so glad and felt thankful towards Woohyun.

Woohyun couldn't help but frown slightly as he saw the girl's eyes were filled with tears.

"Hey, hey—“ he gently reached his hand out to pat her head gently. "No need to thank me, just repay it with a good performance. You—we can do that, right?" his words were then followed with a gentle smile.

Myungeun looked up at her sunbae before nodding her head firmly, despite still tearing up. "I will definitely do it!"

Even as they began practicing, the girl was still overjoyed, feeling enthusiast as she thought of the experience she would gain during the upcoming schedule.
