The air was stale with the stench smell of animals especially horses. I felt suffocated smelling them. The stomach reacted and I almost puke when I recalled the gruesome scene.

“Beautiful, you will be mine after that day. “ He approached me with a dirty look, eyeing me up and down like a piece of meat. He closed in and his tongue. He looked totally gross. That sent me shivering down my spine.

I bit my inner lips to summon strength and retorted back, “Who are you to do that?” I rolled my eyes acting strong and crossed my arms to increase the barrier between us.

“I will win the competition.” He smirked and his breathe emitted odour like animal. I furrowed my brows trying to recall this animal’s odour.

“Wolf” His dark eyes met mine. “I am the prince of wolf. The ladies here called me handsomest prince of wolf.  The girls here are crazy over us,  XO wolf pack. You should be over the rainbow that I had taken fancy of you.”  He spat and wiped off his saliva with his dirty wash out sleeve.

I shuddered and my hands were trembling as I shoved my black long tattered hoodie to cover my face more. I clenched my fist tightly and muttered under my breathe, “I need escape from this.” I turned back to see the brightest place in this arena and saw him. As if sensing me, he pivoted his head and looked at my direction.

I grasped and hands reacting on their own to cover half of my lower face. Feeling lacked of oxygen, I panted and took a deep breathe before turning around and slipped into the crowed street.

Today is the eve of a big day. Tomorrow is….

“Whoa!” A loud husky voice bombed.  I turned around and saw an angry black horse with front legs lifted high in the air, just in front of me.

I will be trampled to death!

But it is better to be there as a trophy.

I can die with dignity.

Goodbye, world!

My left cheek raised up and smiled to myself while preparing myself for the fatal hit.
