Prologue

When we are young, we impulsively believe in things that we cannot see. Yet, as our age soars, so does our scepticism.

But, it does not have to be this way.

No matter our age, we should continue to believe in magic. To believe in the unknown – to think that there may be some kind of mysterious force with power over our fate, our future – provides peace of mind and keeps the child within us alive. It makes us think that the impossible is possible, that our dreams can become reality. It maintains our happiness and health, and instils in us the desire to remain determined.

Magic tells us never to give up on life, so long as we do not give up on magic.
