Chapter 3
Fortunate Son
When morning came around Jinyoung woke up did his usual routine and his stomach hurt from being so hungry. He sighed as he grabbed his bag then he left his room making his way downstairs. Jihye seen him of course and she pulled him into the dinning room, Jinyoung was taken by surprise as she made him sit down. Soon enough food was brought out, he couldn't help but gulp and his mouth watered.
Jihye smiled softly as she seen how starving he was, she started to eat then she frowned a little as Jinyoung just looked at the food instead of eating it, "Jinyoung you can eat. You don't have to force yourself to not eat"
Jinyoung looked up from the food and he thanked her as he soon started to eat and he hummed happily, "Sorry. Just got used to not eating as much you know" He looked up at her then he looked back down at his plate while continuing to eat
"Ahh I get it, but don't worry about that ok? I'll keep you well fed~" She smiled happily as she giggled a little, "Plus I promised your mom I'd keep you well fed!"
Jinyoung looked up at her again and he smiled while nodding, he soon finished eating then he got up slinging his bag over his shoulder, "Thanks for the meal, I'll see you after school" He waved to her then he made his way out seeing Hyun Ryu parked out front
He smiled and they said their good morning's. Hyun Ryu opened the door for him, he got in then he got in as well and started to drive him to the bus stop.
Once they arrived Jinyoung said bye then sat on the bench waiting. When the bus arrived, once again Bam was racing to bus. Jinyoung couldn't help but laugh and they both got on. Once they got to school it was same as always they would joke around and laugh like always. As school ended Jinyoung and Bam made their way back to the bus stop, Jinyoung was waiting with Bam and he looked across the street kind of spacing off then something caught his eye.
He couldn't belive it. He seen Youngjae across the street looking right at him, he was waving and yelling Jinyoung's name. Jinyoung's eyes widened and he looked at Bam. Bam looked over and he pointed, "Jinyoungie who's that?"
Jinyoung got flustered a little, "A-Ah I don't know, but come on! I'll give you a ride!" He said while pulling Bam with him to the car Hyun Ryu was driving. Youngjae ran across as he caught up before Jinyoung closed the door. Jinyoung groaned as he caught him,
Youngjae peeked in and smiled at Bam and Hyun Ryu, "Can I get a ride too?"
Hyun Ryu nodded and Youngjae got on scooting close to Jinyoung. He closed the door then Hyun Ryu started to drive. Of course Bam was lost at why Jinyoung was acting the way he was but then he thought right it's Jinyoung. But also he wanted to know who the random guy was that jumped on with them, "I'm sorry but who are you?" Bam peeked past Jinyoung and looked at Youngjae
Youngjae chuckled and he looked at Bam, Jinyoung closed his eyes and took a deep breath while cringing a little, "Ah! Sorry, I'm Yoo Youngjae, I'm Jaebum's friend and also Jinyoung's boyfriend"
Bam's eyes widened hearing boyfriend and he hit Jinyoung's arm, "How come you didn't tell me you had a boyfriend already!!" he practically screamed out.
Jinyoung's eyes shut more then he opened them looking over at Youngjae, glaring at him harshly. Jinyoung looked at Bam and sighed, "Bam seriously? If I ever have a boyfriend or even have a crush of course I'd tell you first thing, don't belive this guy I don't even really know him" he scoffed and looked at Youngjae while rolling his eyes
Bam took a second to take in what Jinyoung said then he laughed a little while nodding, "Ahhh yeah you're right sorry Jinyoungie" He hugged his arm while Youngjae peeked over and frowned a little
"What can I hug you too?" He looked at Jinyoung while doing puppy dog eyes, Jinyoung did his sarcastic laugh while shaking his head, "Never in a million years"
Youngjae pouted the whole way to Bam's and Bam looked over at Youngjae, "You know Jinyoung is tough to crack, and by the looks of it he's taking a liking to you to" He wiggled his eye brows then laughed evily as he quickly got off before Jinyoung could do or say anything.
Jinyoung's mouth hung open at Bam's words then was cut off by the door then he scooted to the door while scoffing once again. Youngjae stopped pouting then he smirked a little while moving closer to Jinyoung once again, "So you're acting like this towards me because you like me too huh?"
Jinyoung scoffed and he turned away from him, "Like I'd ever like you, and first of all we just barely met each other. And we really don't know anything about each other" He scoffed again while crossing his arms and looked out of the window.
All Youngjae did was smirk more while leaning back against the seat while looking at Jinyoung here and there, "That may be true but I know you will fall for me one day Park Jinyoung"
Jinyoung rolled his eyes while continuing to look out of the window remaining silent as they drove Youngjae back home. Youngjae couldn't wipe the grin off of his face as he kept thinking to himself that Jinyoung will one day like him. After a half hour or so they arrived at Youngjae's place, he opened the door and looked at Jinyoung, "I'll see you soon cutie"
Jinyoung finally looked at him and glared and right before he was about to say something he was cut off by Youngjae as he kissed him. Jinyoung's eyes widened and he quickly pushed him away, Youngjae smirked while winking at him then he got off, closing the door behind him.
He was at a loss for words, he quickly rubbed his mouth with his sleeve while cringing, "Ahhh yuck" He spit a little before wiping his mouth again, "Ahhhhhhhh why'd he show up" Jinyoung cringed again and after a while when Hyun Ryu dropped him off he got off thanking him for the ride. He made his way into the mansion and he made his way up to his room. But then something unexpected happened as he was on his way to his room.
Someone was running down the stairs then happened to run into Jinyoung, knocking both of them to the floor.
It was Jaebum, as both fell Jinyoung was already on the ground and Jaebum was hovering over him. Jinyoung's eyes were closed shut as he fell then he slowly opened his eyes only to see he was face to face with Jaebum. Jinyoung immeditately blushed darkly, he gulped a little and he looked into Jaebum's eyes. Jaebum looked down at him seeing him blush then the quickly got up then held out his hand for him. Jinyoung took his hand and got up while clearing his throat, "Ahh sorry. I wasn't watching where I was going"
He looked down while trying to calm down his blush. Jaebum nodded a little while rubbing the back of his neck nervously, "No it was my fault... Sorry" He smiled a little he walked past him only to walk out of the front door to go to his ride. Jinyoung took a deep breath, making his way back to his room trying to recollect himself from the incident and he only blushed more thinking about it. How close their faces were... How close their bodies were...

Jinyoung POV:
I honestly can't believe that just happened... Did that really happen or was that a dream and I just tripped on the stairs making me think that really happened. I shook my head in disbelief then I pinched myself to make sure. Yeah, no, that really happened. Oh my god, we were so close together..... His facial features are even more beautiful up close.... Oh man our lips were so close to touching....
I opened my room door, walking in, closing the door behind me. I threw my bag to the side then went and flopped onto my bed hugging my pillow. I smiled softly thinking about it again. I was like a teenage girl, starting to squeal happily moving around on my bed kicking my feet around a little.
Just wow.... I soon snapped myself out of it and took deep breaths trying to calm down then suddenly someone knocked on my door. I took another deep breath before getting up to go see who it was. I opened the door only to see small smiling Jihye. I smiled softly while opening my door more
"I came up here to tell you it's time for dinner~" She smiled more while motioning me to follow her. I smiled and nodded while leaving my door open. I followed her into the dinning room, sitting down while looking at the food and I my lips a little seeing it was italian food.
I looked over seeing Mr. Im and Jihye. I looked around again not seeing Jaebum then I grabbed my fork and ate a little before asking, "Where's Jaebum?"
Jihye was eating her food then she swollowed before speaking, "Oh he went to go eat out with his friends, he'll be back later"
I nodded a little feeling a bit relieved that I don't have to see him yet, because I don't want his parents thinking I'm weird by randomly blushing. I continued to eat trying to think of other things then eventually I thought of what Youngjae did and got a little mad. I sighed softly while soon finishing eating. I took my plate into the kitchen then thanked them both for the food, and I made my way back to my room.
I closed the door behind me, making my way towards the bathroom to shower. After I was done I did my homework for about 2 hours then I went to my bed while scrolling through my phone. I was scrolling through mindlessly scrolling past things then I got a video call.
I looked at the name then scoffed a little seeing it was Youngjae calling. I sighed a little answering it with an unimpressed look. He looked at me smiling while cooing. I groaned while rolling my eyes at him, "What do you want Youngjae?"
"Ahh there's my little cutie, guess where I am?" He smiled more while he was walking
I shrugged and yawned a little, "Let me guess a ditch?"
Youngjae stopped walking then scoffed a little, "No. I am not in a ditch." he pouted a little and started to walk again
I shrugged once again then rolled onto my back, "I give up. Where"
He chuckled while continuing to walk then he stopped, "Just wait"
I shook my head then heard a knock on my door. I looked at him through the screen and shook my head once again while ending the call. I got up going to the door opening it only to see Youngjae smiling at me, "Ah I should have guessed"
"Yes~ I'm here cause me and some of Jae's friends came back here to play some video games" He smiled like an idiot while leaning against my door frame.
I yawned while raising my eyebrows a little, "Hmm then why aren't you with them right now?"
"I told them I had to go to the bathroom. I just said that so I can come over here to see you once more cutie"
I cringed a little before taking a deep breath, "Well now you seen me now you can go, I'm about to sleep"
He smirked a little then raised his eyebrows, "How about I join you?" He wiggled his eyebrows while moving closer.
I wasn't in the mood to deal with him right now so I pushed him away then closed the door while locking it, "No thank you but it's a twin bed" I yawned again making my way back to my bed, moving under the covers while already starting to doze off. I soon fell asleep but heard faint noises of Youngjae trying to talk to me through the door.

Little did both of them know that Jaebum seen them. As he seen his friend trying to hit on his step brother he didn't know why but he got a little mad, could it be he's starting to care for Jinyoung like a brother? Jaebum seen Jinyoung close the door on him and heard his friend talk away, he couldn't help but laugh quietly then he made his way back to the game room with some snacks. When Youngjae came back Jaebum looked at him and shook his head a little.
"Damn dude what took you so long did you take a dump or what?" Jaebum said as he joked a little knowing the real reason what took him a while
Youngjae was pouting then he looked up and shook his head while grabbing some chips not saying anything as he was upset Jinyoung just shut the door on him.
Jaebum still couldn't really get rid of that feeling as he couldn't help but feel a little mad.
