The whispering hum of sheets, of water droplets plummeted onto the warm dry ground. The rain bore down remorselessly upon the city, pounding on the rooftops, barren streets and the windows of the filled coffee shop.

The young couple sat inside by the large window of the coffee shop. The bitter aroma of coffee flooding their senses.

“Mingyu oppa, let’s go to the park? You know the one across from here” Nayeon asked full of energy. Her fingers and nose pressed against the rain beaten glass.

“Nayeon you know it’s raining right?”He questioned a little confused.

“Please oppa, it’ll be fun, I promise. It’ll be just the two of us” Pleading with her round brown eyes.

“Fine, only if you promise to keep calling me oppa” gleefully grinning at her tiny form.

“Come on then, oppa “ forming an ‘o’shape to pronounce it more prominently.

Long fingers, blue corded with veins, sweaty palms, interlocked together into daintier, softer ones.

They walked out together into the onslaught of water.

Feet kissing the wet pavement as the young couple ran; both trying to avoid the rain. To no avail. Clothes soaked thoroughly through by the merciles
